Why God Created Sex?

Sex is only for marriage of one man and one woman!

People have sex all the time, but how many make love to one another?  Many people, but not all,  selfishly look at sex as simply a way to expect pleasure; they are making a grievous mistake. God created sex to reproduce and fill His world with people who love him and one another.

Our society has ushered in perversion through the devil and has caused much pain due to the devil’s perversion in the form of pornography, abortion, broken marriages, broken relationships, sexually transmitted diseases, etc. Sin has come into the picture via person, lust, and disobedience to God’s will. Keeping sex only in marriage keeps away a lot of problems and heartaches. God’s plan is for one man and one woman to unite and stay together faithfully! ~ Bill Greguska

Colossians 3:5   Put to death, therefore, whatever belongs to your earthly nature: sexual immorality, impurity, lust, evil desires, and greed, which is idolatry.

Why Is Sex Before Marriage Not A Good Idea At All?

God Created Sex, Not For Recreation But Re-Creation!

Sex In Marriage Is The Only Right Way!

I believe that sex is a beautiful gift from God unless it is not used as God intended!

The topic of sex in our society has gotten out of hand in many ways.

  1. There is some truth that it is a tendency for women tend to give up sex to get love.
  2. While often, men tend to give up love to get sex. Both ways are wrong.

Only if people were wise enough to realize that God had a plan for everything and people ought to practice sexuality in the way God intended it to be, which is in marriage, not how people feel like it. I am personally guilty of not doing it the way God instructed us to do it, and because of it, some hardships came about. Having a daughter out of wedlock. So I know first-hand what I am talking about in this matter! Without God as the compass in our lives, we will see more and more of the unbridled sexuality that the world gravitates toward a severe concern. God has given us a beautiful gift that ought to be opened between a husband and a wife in the bond of marriage, only not just for pleasure or recreation. ~ Bill Greguska

Sex And The Desires That Go With It!

“Your purity is not based on what you’ve done with your body. It’s based on what Jesus did with His.” ~ Sheila Wray Gregoire

1 Corinthians 6:18 Flee from sexual immorality. All other sins a person commits are outside the body, but whoever sins sexually sins against their own body.

God intended sex to be a beautiful thing between one man and one woman to keep the world populated. Our sinful world has attempted to change what God meant for good. Here are a couple of definitions of how sex has gotten distorted and sinful.

Definition of debauchery = extreme indulgence in bodily pleasures and especially sexual pleasures : behavior involving sex, drugs, alcohol, etc. that is often considered immoral

Definition of lewd = crude and offensive in a sexual way. “she began to gyrate to the music and sing a lewd song”

Definition of lascivious = filled with or showing sexual desire: lewd, lustful lascivious acts/thoughts

What If More People Abstained From Sex Until Marriage?

Being sexually active before marriage has many unwanted consequences, even if you don’t experience heartbreak, a sexually transmitted disease, or unwanted pregnancy. God didn’t design sex in this way. He beautifully planned a healthy, pleasurable experience to create children in a healthy family between one man and one woman. Our society has drastically changed the way we value marriage and the personal morals taught to us when we were young. Sex in our society has gotten outrageous. You can tell by what is on TV and in the movies to get an idea. Our moral fiber has weakened to the point that it is today for many reasons. Before the Bible was taken out of our schools, we had problems, but the problems have only gotten worse. Shame has been taken out of the equation for the most part. Although the effects of lack of morals have crippled our society to the point of women having abortions at will, sex before marriage as a norm needs to be corrected.

The Media In Today’s Society Has Not Helped!

Unfortunately, the media has distorted sex today and has caused our world to embrace lust. It is not a game or a thing to be regarded lightly. When sex is practiced as recreation or pleasure outside marriage, it will see more problems than you can imagine. The momentary pleasure of sin can result in many regrets and negative consequences. These can be bypassed by abstaining from sex until marriage. Wait until the time is right (marriage); then welcome your child into this world the way God meant it to be.

1 Corinthians 6:19  Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own.

The husband should give to his wife her conjugal rights, and likewise the wife to her husband. For the wife does not have authority over her own body, but the husband does. Likewise the husband does not have authority over his own body, but the wife does. How beautiful and pleasant you are, O loved one, with all your delights! Your stature is like a palm tree, and your breasts are like its clusters. He is not greater in this house than I am, nor has he kept back anything from me except you, because you are his wife. How then can I do this great wickedness and sin against God?” And as she spoke to Joseph day after day, he would not listen to her, to lie beside her or to be with her.
