Need to Relax? NeedEncouragement.comPlease contact us if you have questions or if you need some encouragement.

If you’re feeling a bit overwhelmed and in need of some relaxation. I want to encourage you that discovering the right balance between exercise, or diet, rest, or work, play, social life, and spiritual life can make all the difference when it comes to finding natural ways to relax. It’s also important to pray about situations before they happen and be mindful of our expectations as they directly impact our level of serenity. I also found out that the expectations that I have in any situation are in direct proportion to my serenity. The higher my expectations, the lower my serenity. On the other hand, when my expectations are lower, my serenity is higher.

If we don’t prioritize relaxation in our lives, we are bound to get over-stressed which is never good for us physically or mentally. Whenever you begin feeling anxious or stressed out try saying a quick prayer while taking long deep breaths – this can help calm your nerves almost instantly! Take 5-10 minutes each day just lying down on your bed breathing deeply with eyes closed – trust me; this will do wonders for your well-being! So go ahead; learn how vital it is for you “to relax” every day! Remember that exercise is a great way to relax, although there are many other good ways to learn how to relax, but keep in mind to learn how to stop and think before adding things to your calendar, and to be able to say no to others sometimes when it stresses you out, especially if your schedule if it overloads you. ~ Bill Greguska

How To Relax And Unwind?

Do You Want To Learn How To Relax?

Most People Really Don't Know How to Relax?

There are many good ways to relax; find the best way for yourself! Include God in all your ideas!

Are there times you need to learn how to relax and put away your stress? We need to calm down to deal with the demands of each day. Did you ever actually know how to relax as you need to?

I love what it says in Exodus 14:14 “The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still. “When I keep this thought in my mind, it is easier to learn how to relax and trust that God has everything under control. Physically I have learned to relax by regularly exercising and lying down when overly tired or stressed out.

The best way to relax is to walk closely with the Lord daily. He will guide your steps, lead you the way you need to go, trust God, and keep your eyes on Him. That is the best way to suggest you learn to relax by putting your hope in God! The next time you get angry, try to stop and think if whatever is getting you upset is worth it. you get angry; halting those thoughts helps me relax and regroup myself! ~ Bill Greguska

Does Forgiveness Help A Person Relax?

Practice forgiveness for others, and be sure you forgive yourself. Being unable to forgive compels you to feel discontented and hold old grudges. Worse still, your health will be affected by long-lived unresolved issues. Your blood pressure, heart rate, and physical and spiritual health are bound to take a negative toll on your life physically, spiritually, emotionally, and mentally. Learn to let go, let God be in charge, and relax! It is hard to live a calm life when you continuously fear or have hate in your heart. Forgiveness encourages a sense of calm because you no longer spend so much of your life holding on to resentment towards others. God created us and knew what we would face in life; that is why he taught us and commanded us to forgive and love one another.

Reducing Stress Through Deep Breathing!

Take A Deep Breath And Ask God To Help You Relax!

Next time someone angers or frustrates you, take a deep breath and hold it for 3-5 seconds while you ask God to give you the strength and wisdom to overcome whatever is upsetting to you.  As you do this, you will indeed feel physically, emotionally, and spiritually better for doing so. This will help you learn how to relax. You can try it right now to understand what I am saying. (If necessary, repeat the breath 2 or 3 times or more when you need to be calm.) Be patient. Patience is the key to peace. Impatience is the source of agitation irritation. Eagerness says, “I want it now,” When that does not happen, you are tempted to lose your temper and let your blood pressure rise. An excellent way to physically and emotionally learn to relax and be calm is to practice simple deep breathing and relaxation techniques. Click Here
