When it comes to learning how to relax, I have found that when I am getting anxious or stressed that if I take a long deep breath and say a quick prayer, almost inevitably, I find myself much more relaxed right away. ~ Bill Greguska

You Owe It To Yourself To Learn How To Relax!
Are there times you need to learn how to relax and put away your stress? We need to calm down to deal with the demands of each day.
Did you ever actually learn how to relax in the way we need to? I love what it says in Exodus 14:14 “The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.”
Physically I have learned how to relax by regularly exercising and lying down when I am overly tired or stressed out.
The best way to relax is to be walking closely with the Lord every day. He will guide your steps and lead you the way you need to go, trust God, and keep your eyes on Him. That is the best way to suggest that you learn how to relax by putting your hope in God!
The next time you catch yourself getting angry, try to stop and think if whatever it is getting you upset, is it worth it? When you find yourself getting angry, halting those thoughts helps me to relax and regroup myself! ~ Bill Greguska

Does Forgiveness Help A Person Relax?
Practice forgiveness for others, and be sure you forgive yourself. Being unable to forgive compels you to feel discontented and holding old grudges.
Worse still, your health will be affected by long-lived unresolved issues. Your blood pressure, heart rate, and physical and spiritual health are bound to take a negative toll on your life in general, physically and spiritually and emotionally, mentally. Learn to let go and let God be in charge, and learn to relax!
It is hard to live a calm life when you continuously fear or have hate in your heart. Forgiveness encourages a sense of calm because you no longer spend so much of your life holding on to resentment towards other people.
God created us and knew what we would face in life; that is why he not only taught us, but he commanded us to forgive and love one another.

Take A Deep Breath And Ask God To Help You Relax!
Next time when someone angers or frustrates you, take a deep breath in and hold it for 3-5 seconds while you ask God to give you strength and wisdom to overcome whatever is upsetting to you.
As you do this, you will indeed feel physically, emotionally, and spiritually better for doing so. This will help you learn how to relax.
You can try it right now to understand what I am saying. (if need be, repeat the deep breath 2 or 3 times or more when you need to be calm.)
Be patient. Patience is the key to peace. Impatience is the source of agitation irritation. Eagerness says, “I want it now,” and when that does not happen, you are tempted to lose your temper and let the blood pressure rise.
