There are an infinite number of things to learn in life, and the beauty of it all lies in the fact that the more we learn, the more we realize how much we do not know. It’s a humbling experience that reminds us of our limitations as human beings compared to God, who is all-knowing. That’s why I am particularly fond of the acronym B.I.B.L.E., which stands for Basic Instructions Before Leaving Earth! This simple phrase encapsulates the idea that there is wisdom and guidance to be found within the pages of scripture, offering valuable insights on how to navigate through this journey called life.

Benjamin Franklin once said,  “Being ignorant is not so much a shame as being unwilling to learn.” These words resonate with me deeply because they highlight the importance of having an open mind and a thirst for knowledge. Each day presents itself as an opportunity for growth and discovery; a chance to expand your horizons by learning something new. Learning isn’t just about personal development either; it extends beyond ourselves. The knowledge we acquire can also serve as a means to help others – those whom we care about deeply. By continually seeking out new information and skills, we equip ourselves with tools needed to uplift and support those around us. However, while embracing new ideas is crucial, maintaining discernment is equally important. We should approach this vast world with an open mind but never lose sight of our own beliefs or let them slip away entirely like brains falling out due to excessive openness. ~ Bill Greguska
