God Can Give You A Clean Heart!

A clean heart comes from God

Can you remember the feeling of getting out of the shower and putting on fresh, clean clothes? To me, that is an excellent analogy of what God does for us when we confess our sins to Him, and we repent, and He forgives us. There is nothing like a clean heart after we dirty it with our sins such as anger, lying, lust, etc. God forgives me and gives me a clean heart when I confess and repent from my sins, but that does not mean I ought to keep on sinning. Loving God prevents me from doing that, at least not on purpose. ~ Bill Greguska.

Psalm 51:1-2  Have mercy on me, O God, according to your unfailing love; according to your great compassion, blot out my transgressions. Wash away all my iniquity and cleanse me from my sin.

If you want to have a clean heart, confess your sins to God, and turn away from the wickedness that makes you and I sinners. Here are some encouraging scriptures about having a pure heart.

Is Your View The Same As God’s View Of Your Heart?

We Can Hide What Is In Our Heart, But It Comes Out In The Wash!

You can not fool God when God looks at your heart!

Try To Hide What Is In Your Heart, But It Will Come Out Later!

In our society, the media puts a lot of pressure on women, especially to look beautiful and sexy, but we know what the Lord says about appearances. That looks are deceiving, but what is important is what is in the heart of the person.
Good people are not always beautiful or lack beauty, and sinful people are not always glamorous or lack beauty. That is where discretion comes in when we observe the person’s character, not only their appearance.
Matthew 7:16-20  By their fruit, you will recognize them. Do people pick grapes from thornbushes or figs from thistles? Likewise, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, and a bad tree cannot bear good fruit. Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. Thus, by their fruit, you will recognize them.

The Tea Bag Analogy!

God's wordWe can fool others, but we can not fool God. God looks at our hearts and can tell if what we say or do has been done with a pure heart of a heart filled with sin.

When difficult times come, that is like hot water, and you are like a teabag.
When you are put in hot water (problem or a stressful difficulty) when the teabag (you) is placed in hot water, will it bring out good tea or lousy tea from you?
