End Your Addiction… Before It Ends You!
Please contact us if you have questions or if you need some encouragement.
If you’ve been struggling with addiction, it’s important to know that you’re not alone. It can be easy to feel isolated and ashamed, but the truth is that many people have walked this same path before you. One thing that people who have never experienced addiction may not understand is just how hard it can be to end your addiction. It’s like a constant battle between your desire for freedom and your urge to give in to the addictive behavior. But take heart – ending your addiction is possible!
You don’t have to let it control your life any longer. With God’s help, you can find the strength and resources you need to overcome even the most powerful addictions. And when you finally do break free from its grip, there’s nothing quite like the feeling of true freedom and liberation. So if you’re ready to end your addiction once and for all, know that recovery is within reach – all it takes is one step at a time towards healing and restoration.” ~ Bill Greguska
1 Corinthians 10:13 No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it.

There Are Many Types Of Addictions!
Do you think you might have an addiction and want to end your dependence? Whether that addiction might be food, cigarettes, alcohol, drugs, gambling, the internet, etc.
Trust me that the saying, “Once an addict, always an addict,” is not true because all things are possible with God! You might be an addict today, but that does not mean you will be forever, primarily if you work at it. An addiction can get under control with help from God and countability. Do you want to end your dependence?

End Your Addiction To Internet Types of Addictions
People are doing web surfing, Facebook, Twitter, emails, and like below; there is also an addiction called game addiction that many young people have gotten involved in. If you can’t let go of your attraction to things on the internet, there is a good chance you need help to end your addiction to your computer. I refer to things like Facebook, Twitter, and pornography, which have gotten out of control for men and women, teens, and even young children. Control your computer, or it will control you and take away a good part of your life. There is hope that hope comes from God and through prayer.

Get Started To End Your Addiction!
Here are some other things that will help you as you try to stop your addictions:
- Start by taking an inventory of your overall health.
- Begin to eat correctly.
- Try to sleep 7-8 hours each night.
- Exercise regularly.
- If you have other addictions, quit smoking or any other unhealthy habits you may have.
When you care for these basic needs, you better not fall prey to your addiction’s attack. The Internet is a source of dependency, and many people have fallen into that trap. The pornography industry exploded when the Internet began and made pornography addiction something that has made Internet use unsafe for families and everyone, not only men. If you think you or someone you know has a pornography addiction, it is time to get help! Keep in mind that many types of addictions lead to many problems! I have been addiction-free from alcohol and drugs since June 25, 1986. I would not trade it back for anything! Do you need help with an addiction? ~ Bill Greguska
Some Specific Scriptures To Encourage You:
1 Corinthians 10:13 ESV
No temptation has overtaken you that is not common to man. God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation, he will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it.
1 Peter 5:8 ESV
Be sober-minded; be watchful. Your adversary, the devil, prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour.
James 1:12-15 ESV
Blessed is the man who remains steadfast under trial, for when he has stood the test, he will receive the crown of life, which God has promised to those who love him. Let no one say when he is tempted, “I am being tempted by God,” for God cannot be tempted with evil, and he himself tempts no one. But each person is tempted when he is lured and enticed by his own desire. Then desire, when it has conceived, gives birth to sin, and sin, when it is fully grown, brings forth death.
1 John 2:16 ESV
For all that is in the world—the desires of the flesh and the desires of the eyes and pride of life—is not from the Father but is from the world.
1 Corinthians 6:12 ESV
“All things are lawful for me,” but not all things are helpful. “All things are lawful for me,” but I will not be dominated by anything.
James 4:7 ESV
Submit yourselves, therefore, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
1 Corinthians 15:33 ESV
Do not be deceived: “Bad company ruins good morals.”
1 Peter 5:10 ESV
And after you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace, who has called you to his eternal glory in Christ, will himself restore, confirm, strengthen, and establish you.
Galatians 5:19-21 ESV
Now the works of the flesh are evident: sexual immorality, impurity, sensuality, idolatry, sorcery, enmity, strife, jealousy, fits of anger, rivalries, dissensions, divisions, envy, drunkenness, orgies, and things like these. I warn you, as I warned you before, that those who do such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.
1 Peter 2:11 ESV
Beloved, I urge you as sojourners and exiles to abstain from the passions of the flesh, which wage war against your soul.
Proverbs 20:1 ESV
Wine is a mocker, strong drink a brawler, and whoever is led astray by it is not wise.
John 8:36 ESV
So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.
Matthew 6:13 ESV
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
Romans 13:14 ESV
But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh, to gratify its desires.
