Do You Got Faith?
Please contact us if you have any questions or comments or would just like some encouragement?
We all have faith, but what our faith is in is the important question to ask. When I was little, I had faith in my parents that they would have food for me to eat, a roof over my head, and clothes to wear. It was not until I got older to realize that my real faith was in God. He is the creator and sustainer of life. There are other ways that we have faith. We practice faith when we sit in a chair that we never sat in before. But having faith in God is something that we gain by having a relationship with God. In time our faith muscle strengthens, and in time we can put all our faith in God without hesitation or fear. How is your faith? Does it need some strengthening? ~ Bill Greguska
Hebrews 11:1 Now, faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.
What Does Your Faith Look Like?
Faith Is Taking The First Step, Even When You Don’t See The Whole Staircase. ~ Martin Luther King, Jr.
Ask yourself, “Do you have stronger faith than a year ago?” God tells us in the Bible: “Truly, I say to you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.” Matthew 17:20 Do you think your faith increases because you become more aware of all the blessings that God has given you? Trust that God has a plan for your life, an idea not to harm you but provide you with hope. Stronger faith starts with childlike faith. When you stop at a red light, and the light turns green, you have faith that the drivers who now have a red light will stop.
My Faith In God Has Helped Me; It Can Help Yours Too!
Thankfully, God miraculously changed my outlook on life and changed me as a person. Although I still have problems with God in my life, I now can lean on Him for guidance through His word and with prayer.
God put wise people in my life, such as Ron and Sue Sauer and Mark Mallwitz, my mom, and others who have encouraged me through the struggles that I have had. We all can feel sad or depressed, but remember what happens when we put our hope in the Lord! In my attempt to pay it forward, I have tried to point people to God’s love via this website, so people like you can also find similar types of encouragement that I needed in the past that you might need today.
Doubts Are Not From God, Do You Want Your Faith To Make A Difference?
When you question your faith, take a minute to think to yourself of some of the things that God has done in your life already. Doing this will help stop those thoughts from tempting you to doubt. Those thoughts are not from God; they are from the evil one.
Remember that the Bible teaches us that, in the end, God is victorious, and Satan is defeated. ~ Bill Greguska
Pastor Ron Sauer and Sister Sue Sauer are two people who tried to jump-start my dying marriage, which ended up jump-starting a much stronger faith in God in me!
Pastor Ron and Sue Sauer both did all they could do to help keep my marriage together. Until my ex decided she wanted to rediscover her life and divorced me. Some great things happened when Pastor Ron was our pastor at Redeemer Evangelical Free Church in 2003. Pastor Ron and Sue poured a lot of time and a lot of wisdom into me. Their help was critical during this challenging time in my life. I did what they told me that I needed to do. My ex was not on the same page, which made things virtually impossible to reconcile our marriage. After the divorce was over in 2007, Sue still kept in touch with me, pointing me to Jesus and helping me get my life back on track via emails, texts regularly, and phone calls once in a while. My faith became stronger; I communicated with Sue because she always pointed me to Jesus Christ and his teaching through his word. Sue is a very wise, humble Christian woman.
Pointing Me To Jesus And Getting Back On Track!
After the divorce was over in 2007, Sue still kept in touch with me, leading me to Jesus and helping me get my life back on track via emails, texts regularly, and phone calls once in a while. I believe that Mark Mallwitz and Sue Sauer were sent to me by God. I say this because of how much time and energy they poured into helping me!
I still remember asking Ron and Sue, “What can I give you, or what can I do for you for all of the help you have given me?” They told me, “All they wanted me to do was to encourage others with the encouragement that I have received from Christ.” 2 Corinthians 1:3-4 That is when I felt that God put it on my heart to start a phone ministry. I called it the Encouragement Help Line, and then in 2007, I began NeedEncouragement.com. This would not have happened if Pastor Ron and Sue had not told me to encourage others. Otherwise, I would have never started this website, most likely.
