It is wise to seek sin information and understand its implications, as we are reminded in Ephesians 6:12 “For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world, and the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.”  Despite being tempted by various sins daily, we can overcome them with God’s guidance. Often, we find ourselves doing things we know are wrong while neglecting to do what is right.

As Christians, we are not immune to sin; it is inherent in our fallen nature. However, those who have been born again exhibit a significant reduction in sinful behaviors due to their love for the Lord. A quote from Dwight L. Moody beautifully captures this truth – “The Bible will keep you from sin or sin will keep you from the Bible.” Therefore, remaining uninformed about sin isn’t just a mistake; it can be a costly blunder jeopardizing our place in heaven alongside God. Let us embrace knowledge about sin and actively strive to escape its traps through faith and reliance on God’s strength within us. ~ Bill Greguska

Romans 7:15-18 I do not understand what I do. For what I want to do, I do not do, but what I hate, I do. And if I do what I do not want to do, I agree that the law is good.  As it is, it is no longer I who do it, but it is sin living in me.  For I know that good itself does not dwell in me, that is, in my sinful nature. For I have the desire to do what is good, but I cannot carry it out.
