Have You Been Struggling With Sin Lately?
Please contact us if you have questions or if you need some encouragement.
Are you struggling with sin in any specific area of your life? Remember, you are not alone. Sin has been a part of the human condition since the beginning of time. But take heart, for there is hope! Take your burden to the Lord in prayer and let His grace wash over you like a gentle stream, cleansing away the stains of your transgressions. Embrace God’s forgiveness and guidance as you navigate this never-ending battle against evil. With God’s help, victory is possible! It’s important to understand that sin will continue to tempt us until we find ourselves in heaven alongside Jesus.
So make it your utmost priority to secure your destination in heaven by walking faithfully with Him each day. The consequences of un-repented sins can be dire, but through heartfelt repentance and a genuine desire for righteousness, we can find salvation and eternal peace. Someone once said that the Bible serves as our compass to navigate through life’s trials; allowing its teachings to guide us will shield us from falling into sinful traps or drifting away from God’s Word. Let the word “sin” remind you not only of our shared struggle but also of our potential for redemption and triumph when we seek refuge in God’s unwavering love and mercy. I recall someone years ago telling me that the Bible will keep you from sin, or sin will keep you from the Bible. ~ Bill Greguska

How To Stop Struggling With Sin!
Each of us has our own set of sins and problems in life. God’s word says that we ought to submit ourselves to God, resist the devil, and he will flee from us. Being trapped in sin is something we all have in common because of Adam and Eve’s original sin. Sin comes in many forms, anger, lust, greed, envy, hatred, stealing, murder, etc. Many are no longer trapped in sin and sin consequences because of trust and faith in Jesus Christ.
Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus, our Lord.

One of my favorite scriptures is Psalm 46:1 “God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.”
A Better Understanding of Sin… 1 John 1:5-9
This is the message we have heard from him and declare to you: God is light; in him, there is no darkness at all. If we claim to have fellowship with him and yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not live out the truth. But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin. If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.

How many sins are you aware of?
A man or woman who is unsaved is not concerned about sin. They may have regretted their actions when the consequences are not favorable. They can quickly put aside any lingering shame or guilt in the pursuit of their desires. They justify themselves when they sin. They compare themselves to others, always able to find someone more unworthy to feel better about themselves and their sin.

Our Society Is Struggling With Sexual Sin, Addictions, Greed, etc.
It had become more acceptable to be associated with sinful things in our society than a few decades ago when it was shameful to have anything to do with immoral things. If you are trying to do right in God’s eyes but still struggling with sin, there is hope for you! I applaud your desire to get right with God, and I pray that God will give you the strength to stand up against your sin and mine.
Nowadays, many people want to do their own thing, not paying attention to God’s will. Instead, they ignore what they believe it says in the Bible. In today’s American society, “sin” has been replaced with “mistake or error” or other words like them.

You Are Not Alone; Learn How To Avoid Sin!
Sin began when Lucifer, an angel of God, became discontent with his place. He wanted to be the supreme authority. He wanted to be God. Lucifer (the devil) then tempted Adam, the first human, not to trust God. The sin factor entered the human race through Adam, and people became sinners by nature. Adam’s sin of rebellion brought him spiritual death, which has been passed on to every person who has been born from him. Got a question? We are all sinners, not because we sin; instead, we sin because we are sinners. King David spoke about his fallen human nature in Psalm 51:5, “Surely I was sinful at birth, sinful from the time my mother conceived me.”
2 Corinthians 10:4-5 The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.
