Our Emotions Can Sometimes Help Or Hurt Us!
Please contact us if you have questions or if you need some encouragement.
It is truly remarkable to contemplate the vast spectrum of our emotions and how we express them each day. Our emotions are a divine gift, bestowed upon us by God himself, allowing us to experience life in its entirety. From joy to sadness, from love to anger, our emotions enrich our human existence and grant us a deeper understanding of ourselves and others. Some of these emotions bring sheer pleasure and delight into our lives while others can be challenging and overwhelming.
It is important to remember that every emotion serves a purpose; they are not inherently good emotions or bad emotions, but rather a reflection of our internal state. It is in how we respond to these God given emotions that determines their impact on our lives. Each one of us has the capacity to experience an endless array of emotions depending on the circumstances we encounter throughout life’s journey. We may find comfort in exploring this comprehensive list below and identifying those specific feelings that resonate with us most deeply at any given moment. Despite being made in God’s image, we all possess unique perspectives and reactions towards various situations, often differing greatly from one another. What might evoke fear within me could very well amuse you instead – such is the beauty of individuality among human beings! Our Creator has beautifully crafted within us an emotional compass that guides us towards authentic responses based on what feels natural for each one of us personally. So embrace your emotions wholeheartedly, for they serve as an intricate tapestry woven into the fabric of who you are – a testament to your humanity and connection with something or someone. God has built into us emotions that we are free to respond to what ever way we feel led to respond naturally. ~ Bill Greguska
1 John 4:18 There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love.
