Encouraging Words Give Life!

Words of encouragement

If you think about it, using words to build up others is just as easy as using words to harm others. Here are some encouraging scriptures about the words we say.

I  try to look at words as something to build others up or tear others down. It is not that difficult to try to practice using words to help others rather than hurt them. ~ Bill Greguska

Proverbs 16:24  Gracious words are a honeycomb, sweet to the soul and healing to the bones.

Encouraging Words Can Make The Difference!

I Love The Acronym T.H.I.N.K.

It makes you reevaluate the way you speak to others and also behind their back. Before you speak, ask yourself the following five things before you begin to talk to help you decide if something is worth saying or not. Ask yourself what I am about to say, is it:

  1. True

  2. Helpful

  3. Inspiring

  4. Necessary

  5. Kind

As I spoke, I realized that sometimes the way I talk didn’t meet the above standards. How about you?

You will find that using these words, you will not only be encouraging others, but you will begin to feel more encouraged and confident. I am convinced that others will start to understand the value of encouragement as you use encouraging words in your life more after today!
Of course, there are thousands of other encouraging words too, but with this list, you are on your way to being more positive and encouraging starting today! ~ Bill Greguska
