What Does Character Information Mean To You?Building Character

Please contact us if you have questions or comments or want encouragement.

Character information are the qualities people have or lack having. I applaud what John Wooden the coach from the UCLA Bruins basketball team has said because it is so very true, “Be more concerned with your character than your reputation because your character is what you really are, while your reputation is merely what others think you are.”

God has created us in His likeness, yet we, as fallen creatures, have characters that tend to lean towards sin. Fortunately, though, Jesus, when He ascended into heaven, told us that he would leave a comforter to us, and in doing so, we can chisel away for those character defects and sins that we all possess. If you are interested in building your character, below, you will discover a list of many pages to help you do so! ~Bill Greguska

Qualities People With Good Character Display:

A strong person is not one who doesn't cry! NeedEncouragement.com

When a strong person falls, he or she gets back up with God’s help, and they try again!

1. Don’t Control.

They reason and work things out.

2. Don’t Whine.

Sometimes they complain, but know when to stop and also know who to complain to.

3. Don’t Try To Impress.

They are humble with who they are, what they own, their position in life.

4. Don’t Live In The Past.

They learn from the past and reflect upon it.

5. Don’t Criticize.

They accept others for who they are, not who they want them to be, or what they are required to do.

6. Don’t Cling.

They put their trust in God, not in fellow human beings.

7. Don’t Blame.

Friends make mistakes. Your spouse doesn’t always meet your expectations.

8. Don’t Interrupt.

They are not rude but rather behave like ladies and gentlemen.

9. Don’t Let Fear Hold Them Back.

They are not afraid of what man can do to them but rather fear the Lord and His mighty power.

10. They Don’t Preach.

They are willing to share God’s word, but they don’t if the other person is in opposition to hearing the good news.
