How Do You Define Enjoyment?

Please contact us if you have questions or if you need some encouragement.

If you are struggling to find enjoyment in your life, maybe you are looking in the wrong places. Is what you are searching for in terms of enjoyment something outside of God’s will? Is it luring you from God rather than drawing near to God? I want you to know that there is hope. Sometimes it feels like the world has lost its luster and everything around us seems dull and uninspiring. But don’t lose heart. One way to experience true joy is by showing love for God and others. It may sound cliché, but believe me when I say that this path holds immense power to transform your entire existence. I understand that it might seem impossible at first – how can we find enjoyment when our hearts are heavy with burdens? But here’s what I’ve learned: even on our darkest days, God’s light still shines upon us. He is always there, ready to extend His hand and guide us through the storms of life.

So don’t hesitate to ask Him for help; pour out your heart honestly and sincerely. Trust me, He listens, and He will answer in ways you never thought possible. Take comfort in knowing that every season has an end; this too shall pass. While sports like basketball or hobbies may bring fleeting pleasure into our lives, they cannot fulfill us like loving relationships can – especially those with our Creator and loved ones who walk alongside us in this journey called life. So as you pursue things that bring happiness into your days, remember not to overlook the source of all goodness, which is God. By putting God first in all areas of your life – whether big or small – balance will naturally be restored within you. ~ Bill Greguska

Philippians 2:2-4  then make my joy complete by being like-minded, having the same love, being one in spirit and of one mind.  Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility, value others above yourselves,  not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others.
