Addiction Information is crucial to understand the dangers of addiction and how it can affect one’s life. Each individual has the potential to become addicted to something, whether it be drugs, alcohol, smoking, gambling, TV, computer use, food, pornography, or sex. It is important for young people, especially, to learn about the risks associated with addiction as they may experiment because of their curiosity and desire to fit in with friends. Although educating them on these dangers is essential in prevention efforts, it may not always be effective, as personal experiences often play a significant role in shaping our behaviors.

However, cultivating good habits can be just as addictive and far more rewarding than bad ones according to Harvey Mackay’s quote. As someone who has survived addiction myself since 1986, I have learned that early education about addiction information would have been helpful in avoiding my past mistakes; focusing on present sobriety remains an essential aspect of recovery from any form of addiction. ~ Bill Greguska

Proverbs 23:31  Do not gaze at wine when it is red, when it sparkles in the cup when it goes down smoothly!
