Prayer is the ultimate form of direct communication with God. It is an avenue through which we can freely express our desires, and emotions, and seek guidance from Him. As believers, we are aware that God possesses all knowledge and understands the deepest corners of our hearts. Hence, when it comes to prayer information, there is no need for grandiloquent or verbose words; rather, simplicity and sincerity suffice. God is all-knowing, which means God knows our hearts, there is no need to pray loudly or with many words or eloquent words. Prayer is a way of telling God what you need and finding out what God wants us to know.

Prayer acts as a medium for us to convey our needs while also discovering what God wants us to know. Just like how we sought peace and love in our parents’ comforting embrace during times of childhood distress or fear, prayer serves a similar purpose in providing love and comfort from our Heavenly Father. However, unlike earthly parents who offer limited support, God’s word not only envelopes us with affection but also imparts direction and hope into our lives. When we turn to God in prayer, He graciously settles us amidst chaos and aids us in finding wisdom and answers far surpassing any parental figure could provide. When we pray to Him, He settles us and helps us find wisdom and answers we need much more significant than any parent could. ~ Bill Greguska

Matthew 26:41 “Watch and pray so that you will not fall into temptation. The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak.”

Prayer Information ~ How To Pray To God?

Matthew 6:9-13  “This, then, is how you should pray: “‘Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us today our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one.’

Matthew 26:41 “Watch and pray so that you will not fall into temptation. The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak.”

The Serenity Prayer

God, grant me the Serenity to accept the things I cannot change.
Courage to change the things I can, and Wisdom to know the difference.

Living one day at a time, enjoying one moment at a time,
Accepting hardship as the pathway to peace.

Taking, as He did, this sinful world as it is, not as I would have it.
I trust that He will make all things right if I surrender to His will.

That I may be reasonably happy in this life,
And supremely happy with Him forever in the next.

Amen.
