What Is Biblical Encouragement?

Biblical encouragement happens when you apply what the Bible says, and then actually see it put into action!

Always remember that God’s Word through Biblical encouragement has the answers that you need and are looking for in life. Do not trust your own judgment unless you bring it to God in prayer. God’s word teaches us to love Him and to trust in him with our whole heart, mind, and soul. Proverbs 3:5-6

The Bible is kind of like medicine because it works only when you apply it to the areas needing the help.  When you read the Bible, keep your eyes open and be aware of instructions, lessons, commands, and examples that you can apply to help bring upon healing in your life!

Look back in your own life and you will see that the times that you reacted to do your own will before going for Biblical encouragement through God’s Word or through prayer, that the results were often less than favorable. I know for a fact that is true in my life. We do not have all the wisdom that we need in order to make wise choices. That is where God’s word come in to lead us and direct us through safe waters. Biblical encouragement from God’s Word will keep you from sin, or sin will keep you from God’s word! ~ Bill Greguska

Ephesians 6:10-18

The Armor of God

  • 10 Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power.
  • 11 Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes.
  • 12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.
  • 13 Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand.
  • 14 Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place,
  • 15 and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace.
  • 16 In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one.
  • 17 Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.
  • 18 And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people.
