Apologetics ~ Defending God’s Word And Your Faith!
Please contact us if you have questions or if you need some encouragement.
As a believer, I have come to understand that the apologetics of my faith comes from God’s word and what He has done in my life through His grace. Even though people may try to argue about the Bible, they cannot argue with the powerful testimony that I share with others. By knowing apologetics, we can better understand our faith and defend it more clearly.
However, defending God is not like trying to win an argument; all we need to do is trust in the Holy Spirit to speak truth into our lives. Moreover, getting familiar with the Bible will help us see how it defends itself and reinforces our beliefs even more strongly. So let us all strive for a deeper study of God’s word so that we can confidently share our faith without any doubts or fear! ~ Bill Greguska
2 Timothy 3:16 All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting, and training in righteousness.

What Is Christian Apologetics ~ GotQuestions.org
The Value Of Apologetics!
Apologetics can be an intimidating word, but it doesn’t have to be. The apologetics of our faith should come naturally from God’s word and our personal experiences with His grace. When others try to argue about the Bible, we can confidently share our testimony and let them see firsthand how God has transformed our lives. And while knowledge of apologetics certainly helps us defend our beliefs more clearly, we must remember that ultimately it is the Holy Spirit who speaks truth into people’s hearts. So take heart! Don’t feel like you have to defend a lion – simply get to know the Word of God and allow it to speak for itself. Your faith is a powerful witness, so embrace your story and share it boldly with those around you!
Apologetics is the branch of Christianity that deals with the defense and establishment of the Christian faith. Christian Apologetics is something every true believer should be involved in, even if only a little.
“But sanctify Christ as Lord in your hearts, always being ready to make a defense to everyone who asks you to give an account for the hope that is in you, yet with gentleness and reverence” (1 Peter 3:15).
Unfortunately, the nature of what CARM does means that it will attract those who like to hide behind anonymous nicknames and spew out their vitriolic condemnation of anything Christian–sometimes with foul language. This can’t be helped when confronting the various degrees of denial of God’s truth. Still, why open the CARM videos to comments? There are three main reasons:
- To provide Christians an opportunity for dialogue with unbelievers.
- To learn the attitudes and reasoning of unbelievers to better respond to them.
- To increase the popularity of CARM by exposing CARM to more people who are promoted through comment interaction.
Note! The videos are located on YouTube.com and are open to comments from people. Be aware that some of the words contain foul language and anti-Christian statements. ~ Matt Slick
Evangelism Is Hard Work ~ But Every Christian Must Do It!
Some Specific Scriptures To Encourage You:
1 Peter 3:15 ESV
But in your hearts honor Christ the Lord as holy, always being prepared to make a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you; yet do it with gentleness and respect,
Titus 1:7-9 ESV
For an overseer, as God’s steward, must be above reproach. He must not be arrogant or quick-tempered or a drunkard or violent or greedy for gain, but hospitable, a lover of good, self-controlled, upright, holy, and disciplined. He must hold firm to the trustworthy word as taught so that he may be able to give instruction in sound doctrine and also to rebuke those who contradict it.
Romans 16:17-18 ESV
I appeal to you, brothers, to watch out for those who cause divisions and create obstacles contrary to the doctrine that you have been taught; avoid them. For such persons do not serve our Lord Christ but their own appetites, and by smooth talk and flattery, they deceive the hearts of the naïve.
John 17:17 ESV
Sanctify them in the truth; your word is truth.
2 Peter 2:1-3 ESV
But false prophets also arose among the people, just as there will be false teachers among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Master who bought them, bringing upon themselves swift destruction. And many will follow their sensuality, and because of them, the way of truth will be blasphemed. And in their greed, they will exploit you with false words. Their condemnation from long ago is not idle, and their destruction is not asleep.
1 Timothy 3:15 ESV
If I delay, you may know how one ought to behave in the household of God, which is the church of the living God, a pillar and buttress of the truth.
John 16:13 ESV
When the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all the truth, for he will not speak on his own authority, but whatever he hears, he will speak, and he will declare to you the things that are to come.
John 8:32 ESV
And you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”
2 Timothy 2:15 ESV
Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who has no need to be ashamed, rightly handling the word of truth.
2 Corinthians 10:4 ESV
For the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh but have divine power to destroy strongholds.
Romans 5:7-8 ESV
For one will scarcely die for a righteous person—though perhaps for a good person, one would dare even to die— but God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
2 John 1:9-11 ESV
Everyone who goes on ahead and does not abide in the teaching of Christ does not have God. Whoever abides in the teaching has both the Father and the Son. If anyone comes to you and does not bring this teaching, do not receive him into your house or give him any greeting, for whoever greets him takes part in his wicked works.
2 Timothy 3:16 ESV
All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness.
