What does it mean to be a new creation? Being a new creation means experiencing a profound transformation in our lives, as we shed the old and embrace the new. Through Jesus Christ, we are given this incredible opportunity to start afresh, leaving behind our past mistakes and shortcomings. However, it is important to recognize that even though we have been made new, remnants of our sinful nature may still linger within us. This is where the power of the Holy Spirit comes into play; by allowing Him to guide us and keep those tendencies in check, we can prevent them from bearing bad fruit in our lives.

It is humbling to remember that life itself is a gift given to us by God. In return for this precious gift, it becomes our purpose to use every moment of our existence to bring glory and honor to His name. We should be immensely grateful for having a loving Father who offers us second chances time and time again. The battle against our inherent sinful nature will persist until the end of our days on Earth; however, despite these struggles, I remain deeply thankful for my life and all the blessings God has bestowed upon me – blessings that sometimes go unnoticed or unappreciated but are ever-present nonetheless. Let us express gratitude towards God for gifting us with His Holy Spirit’s work within those who truly believe in Him – guiding and molding each one of us into becoming more like Christ every single day. ~ Bill Greguska

2 Corinthians 5:17   Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!

Can God Make Me A New Creation?

Trust in Jesus, And Become A New Creation!

Now you can’t decide to lose your salvation. A child cannot choose later not to be born. You are God’s child when you become born again (an actual born-again situation) and will always be his child. Our behavior might not always reflect our decision to be born again, but that is why Jesus died for our sins on the cross and rose from the dead three days later.
Just as my children (Sherry and Chris) will always be my children, although sin separates us from God, Jesus made a way back to God for us. Just like my children might turn their back on me as a parent, they will always be my children. No matter how they feel or what they say or do, they can not go back and not be my daughter because she was born as my daughter. You wereborn again as the child of God and will be his child forever. My question for you is, Do you need Jesus, or are you just going through the motions of the church each week? Please take the time to get serious and become a new creation in Christ!

Remember To Trust God, Not Your Feelings!

There will probably be times when you don’t feel close to God when you don’t feel like going to worship, reading the Bible, or praying. But the Bible nowhere tells us what it’s like to be a Christian. Our feelings depend on many factors besides our relationship with God. They are the caboose at the end of the faith train, not its engine.
  • If you’re married, there may be times when you feel closer to your others than your spouse, which is only natural, but you’re still married.

  • An employee’s feelings about her employer don’t change the fact that she has a job.

  • A student’s feelings about his teachers don’t alter the fact that he’s in school.
Feelings don’t change facts. Unfortunately, we still sin and fall short of the people our Father wants us to be. Fortunately, our assurance is not based on our abilities but on God’s grace. He says that we are his children. His Son died to pay our spiritual debt so we could join his eternal family.

How To Have A Relationship With God?

Your New Creation In Jesus Means Everything!

It takes as much faith to believe in God now as it did when you first trusted Jesus. Faith is like a relationship, and no relationship can be proven. No married couple can prove to someone outside their family that they love each other. No friend can show their friendship to those who have not experienced it. It’s impossible to explain love to someone who has never felt it. Relationships are self-validating; the more they are experienced, the stronger they become. So don’t wait until you feel close to God; act as though you are. Read his word, pray, worship him personally and publicly, and get involved in the life and work of a local church. Act on your faith, and your confidence grows more in-depth and more substantial. Do you know for a fact that you need a relationship with Jesus?
You were made by God to know Jesus and make him known. A personal relationship with Jesus Christ is the only piece that will fit the hole in your spiritual jigsaw puzzle. He is the hub into which all the spokes of your life fit, the “true north” on your compass. If you haven’t entered a new relationship with Jesus yet, I sincerely hope you’ll pray to meet him today. I hope you’ll help someone else understand him if you know him. Assisting people in following Jesus is the greatest joy in life. ~ Jim Denison and edited by Bill Greguska.
