Oh, the names of Jesus are truly remarkable! They are many, yet they all come together to form one. I love using the word Lord when addressing Jesus my Savior because it feels so personal and intimate. But let’s talk about those names – they describe Jesus in ways that only He can fulfill! The Rock reminds us that we know we can always lean on Him for strength and stability. The Way shows us that there is a path to follow if we choose to walk with Him. The Truth speaks volumes about His character as someone who will never deceive or mislead us.

And how amazing is it that Jesus is referred to as the Bread of Life? It’s a powerful reminder of how our souls hunger for spiritual nourishment that can only be found in Him! And then there’s the Prince of Peace – just thinking about His calming presence brings me comfort and hope in any situation. Truly, the names of Jesus say everything we need to know about who He is and what He offers us as our loving Savior. Let’s praise His Holy Name today and always! ~ Bill Greguska

In Exodus 3:14  God said to Moses, “I am who I am.” And he said, “Say this to the people of Israel: ‘I am has sent me to you.’”

Who Is Jesus ~ And Why Should I Care?

C. S. Lewis Was A Very Brilliant Man!

A converted atheist, he later wrote these words about Jesus: I am trying to prevent anyone from saying the foolish thing the people often say about Him. “I’m ready to accept Jesus as a great moral teacher, but I don’t accept His claim to be God.” That is the one thing we must not say. A man who was merely a man and said the things Jesus said would not be a great moral teacher.

He would either be a lunatic, on a level with the man who says he’s a poached egg, or he would be the Devil of Hell. You must make your choice. Either this man was, and is, the Son of Him and kill Him as a demon, or you can fall at His feet and call Him Lord and God. But let us not come with any patronizing nonsense about His being a great human teacher. He has not left that open to us. He did not intend to (Mere Christianity) New York: Macmillan, 1943 (55-6)
