Find a good church! It’s important to attend church regularly because it provides an opportunity for you to fellowship and grow closer to God and others. The church isn’t just a building but rather the people who make up the body of Christ. While there is no such thing as a perfect church, every person has a place in this community regardless of past or present struggles.

The church is like a hospital where we can heal our brokenness and grow deeper in our relationship with God. Attending church allows you to learn from God’s word and apply it to your life while sharing it with others. If considering changing churches, prayerfully consider essential things such as the Bible-believing focus on Jesus Christ, community involvement opportunities, and overall ministry fit before making any decisions. Remember that finding a good church takes time but it’s worth investing in because it will help strengthen your faith walk with the Lord! ~ Bill Greguska

Hebrews 10:24-25  And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.

Find A Good Church!

God designed us to live in community and fellowship with one another. Attending church is crucial to our spiritual growth as we worship and learn from His word. It’s not just about sitting in a pew on Sunday mornings; it’s about building relationships with other believers and new believers, serving others, and sharing the love of Christ within our communities. Of course, finding the right church can be challenging at times – after all,

But if you seek out a Bible-believing church that focuses on honoring Jesus Christ, you’ll be taking an important step toward deepening your relationship with Him. Remember that no church is perfect – but don’t let that discourage you from seeking like-minded individuals who share your faith and values. Pray for guidance as you search for the right fit; trust that God will lead you where He wants you to go. And once you find your new home away from home? Dive in wholeheartedly! Get involved in small groups or serve opportunities; connect with fellow members; open your heart to learning more about God’s plan for your life through His word. It may take some time to feel at home within a new congregation truly – but trust me when I say it’s worth every moment spent searching!

Find a Good Church And Keep It Simple

Here are four characteristics that all the people from a good church should have that my friend Jackie Hynes shared with me:

  1. Love God
  2. Honor His Word
  3. Treat others with love.
  4. Be a light

Anyone who is to find Christ must first find the church. How could anyone know where Christ is and what faith is in him unless he knew where his believers were? ~ Martin Luther

What I Believe About The Church?

How To Find A Good Church? NeedEncourgement.com

A Bible-believing church is where God’s word is taught.

People in the church are held to a higher standard than other people. The pastors and staff significantly influence many people, so the higher standard comes into play.

People tell me they can follow Jesus Christ without attending church every Sunday. There is some truth to that claim, but Christians need others to help build them up, teach them God’s word, walk together in fellowship, and be there for them physically when they need compassion, encouragement, wisdom, and support. My church life began when I was born; I attended St. Gregory Catholic School from 4th to 8th grade. Then, when I was about 28 years old, I put aside my Catholic faith. I attended my first real Bible-believing church, Elmbrook, for 23 years. ~ Bill Greguska

Looking To Find A Good Church?

Are you looking for a good Bible believing church? NeedEncourgement.com

Are you using God as your anchor? Or are you getting tossed by the waves of this world? Find a good church to get plugged into!

I started to attend Elmbrook church right after getting out of long-term alcohol and drug treatment. God healed me from my addictions; then He started working on my salvation, regeneration, and a closer walk with the Lord. Shortly after that, I attended Elmbrook, a Bible-believing church, from 1989 until 2016. I was under good teaching by Pastor Stuart Briscoe and was grounded in my faith at Elmbrook. Then, in 2016, I started going to Redeemer Evangelical Free Church. Redeemer is also a Bible-believing church.

I mention this because it does not matter what church you attend. Just as long as it is a Bible-believing church that you get connected to. Also, keep in mind that a church is not meant for saints. A church is a hospital for sinners to get well, find the light, and share it with others! The Christian faith starts in the home, branches out to the church, and then reaches out to others in the community who are already Christians and not Christians. Find a good church and get involved. Ask God if the church you are in now could be improved with your help. Suppose you are new to the area and searching for a good church. Finding a good church is significant. Do not just show up to the church; get involved and know and grow with others in your church. Be sure that the church is a Bible-believing church and that you visit it before you join. Make sure you know what the church believes before joining. ~ Bill Greguska
