Anxiety is not uncommon, and it affects us all at some point in our lives. Whether due to the pressures of daily life or a more significant issue, we can feel overwhelmed and lost. But don’t despair! Your heavenly Father understands your pain and confusion – He is a God of peace, not anxiety. It’s easy to get caught up in the busyness and stress of everyday life, but we must set our minds on things above if we want to overcome this affliction.

If you’re struggling with anxiety symptoms regularly, take stock of your physical health – are you getting enough sleep? Are you eating well? Exercise can also be beneficial for reducing anxiety levels. Remember that there is no shame in seeking help from those around us; keeping involved socially can make all the difference! Most importantly, keep calm and trust God’s direction for your life – through prayer and faithfulness, peace will come. So if you’re feeling anxious today or any day ahead, remember these words: You are loved by an almighty creator who knows exactly what you need when you need it most. ~ Bill Greguska

Proverbs 12:25  Anxiety weighs down the heart, but a kind word cheers it up.

How Anxiety Will Steal Your Joy And Peace?

Anxiety Can Improve With Gods Help! NeedEncouragement.com

It is true that worry, fear, and anxiety not only have the power to weigh us down and depress us, but it also chokes out the Word of God, which has been put in our hearts. Your anxiety can be cast onto the Lord, and He will help you bear your burdens. Another thing is that worry is a bad habit. The more you do it, the more you become addicted to it.

People sometimes get saturated with fear, yet it has the opposite effect. God also puts others in our lives to help us with our burdens, and we ought to do the same for others. We always need to cast our cares on the Lord, especially when we are excessively burdened that we need to cast all our cares on Him and experience God’s love for us and the words of hope we find in the Bible. Psalm 9:18 Know that you can pray to God any time of the day or night.~ Bill Greguska

When Does Anxiety Start To Build Up In You?

Relax

Relax, and do not be anxious about things, especially those you have no control over!

Deep breathing is an excellent technique to help when you are feeling anxious.

  1. Breathing can be done merely by slowly breathing in through your nose for a count of 7
  2. Hold your breath for a count of 7 seconds.
  3. Slowly exhale with your tight lips to allow the air to leave between your lips.

Another thing to avoid anxiety getting the best of you is to avoid situations in the first place that increase your pressure, if possible. Why worry and fill yourself up with stress? It just makes things worse! When we start noticing that we are suffering too much and feeling stressed out too often, those are the times we need God the most. Have you ever heard that anxiety and worry are involved in a lack of faith?

People often get medication to help with anxiety, but medicine is the only fight against worry without prayer, exercise, proper diet, exercise, proper diet, proper sleep, and social connection. The “remedy” can be more of a problem than a solution. It might sound like a cliché, but faith and trust in God will help your problem with anxiety.

Breathing Tips To Help With Anxiety And Stress!

Quiet My Heart

(This section is from The Book I wrote)

Lord, I know there will be times when I must decide whether to speak the truth in love or not to say anything. I sometimes choose to talk about politics and religion, but only if the conversation is peaceful and productive; otherwise, it can become a wedge between people.

Lord, I know I should always think before engaging my tongue.  Whatever I speak, help me do so in love, not hate. We all need more discretion regarding when to speak. Please give me the wisdom to know when to share my thoughts and when to keep them to myself.

Give me the wisdom to know that once I say something, there may be negative consequences if not thought out first with love. Calm my heart to help me shut my mouth more often. When I do speak, please help me keep my words soft and sweet so I won’t choke on them if I have to eat them! Lord, I realize that if we speak with others the way we want others to communicate with us, the world would be a better place.

James 1:26 ~ Those who consider themselves religious and yet do not keep a tight rein on their tongues deceive themselves, and their religion is worthless.

Sometimes you’ve got to keep your mouth shut. ~ Kevin Harvick, professional stock car racing driver.

Some Specific Scriptures To Encourage You:

Philippians 4:6-7 ESV

Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

1 Peter 5:7 ESV

Casting all your anxieties on him because he cares for you.

John 14:27 ESV

Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid.

Matthew 6:25-34 ESV

“Therefore, I tell you, do not be anxious about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink, nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing? Look at the birds of the air: they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they? And which of you, by being anxious, can add a single hour to his span of life? And why are you anxious about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin, yet I tell you, even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.

Joshua 1:9 ESV

Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”

Jeremiah 29:11 ESV

For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.
