Is To Do Good Works Good Enough To Get You Into Heaven?

We do good works to honor God, NOT to earn our way into heaven!

The ideal scenario is that we do good works for others because of gratitude to God, but must remember that to do good works will NOT get anyone into heaven. A person can be the most helpful or friendliest guy or gal in the world and do good works, but without Christ’s sacrifice on the cross, there is no forgiveness of sin, and heaven will not be his eternal home without accepting Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. Since God has clarified that the only way to get to heaven is by faith in Him. If we could earn our way to heaven by our good works, then Christ’s death on the cross was UNNESSESARY if you looked at it that way.

There Is Nothing At All Wrong With Doing Good Works, But If You Are Expecting Good Works To Get You To Heaven, You Are Deceiving Yourself And Will Never Make It To Heaven By Doing Good Works! In The Grand Picture Of Life, Good Works Serve As A Testament To Our Gratitude Towards God. It Is An Act Of Reverence And Appreciation For The Blessings God Has Given Us, Not A Ticket For Salvation!

Picture this: a person, with genuine kindness and unfaltering compassion, goes about their days, spreading joy and lending a helping hand wherever it is needed. They are like rays of sunshine in a world often overshadowed by darkness. Their good works touch countless lives, bringing peace to those who yearn for it most. We must remember that good works alone cannot pave the path to heaven’s gate. For even the most selfless individual can never attain eternal salvation solely based on their deeds. It is through Christ’s ultimate sacrifice on the cross that forgiveness becomes obtainable; His divine mercy transcends any earthly goodness we may possess. By extending kindness to others without expectation or ulterior motives, we emulate Christ’s example and become vessels through which His love flows abundantly. So do not let discouragement take root if you find yourself pondering whether your efforts will secure your place in heaven’s embrace; instead, channel that to your love and faith in God. ~ Bill Greguska

Ephesians 2:8-9  For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works so that no one can boast.

Good Works Won’t Get You To Heaven!

Nobody Is Going To Heaven By Doing Good Works!

  • Are You Putting Your Trust in Jesus Christ?
  • God Does Not Want You To Good Works!
Our behavior during our lifetime does not influence God’s decision about whether we will go to Heaven or Hell; only what we believe in our hearts and how we live our lives for God that matters. If you are unsure, contact your pastor to discuss this with him. You can also look in the Bible for your answers. While there are many religions, there is only one way to heaven. Jesus explicitly states that “no one comes to the Father but through Me” John 14:6. He used several picture descriptions to emphasize this point—He called Himself the way (John 14:6), the door (John 10:9), the living bread John 6:51), and the good shepherd (John 10:11).

Biblical Elements Are Essential When Beginning A Relationship With Him:

  • Confess your sin and admit your need for a Savior. 1 John 1:9.
  • Are you going to trust Jesus Christ as the only possible Savior, acknowledging that He died for your sins, was buried, and rose again three days later? John 3:16; 1 Corinthians 15:3-4.
  • Understand that your sins are entirely wiped away, and your name is written in the Lamb’s Book of Life. 1 John 5:11-1
  • I am not saying that daily prayer, Bible reading, church attendance, and fellowship are unnecessary. It is more of a relationship with God wants us to have with Him. You will want to continue to do these things because of your love for Jesus.
