It’s kind of like that feeling of stepping out of the shower and putting on fresh clothes — refreshing, renewing, and invigorating. God does that for us when we confess our sins and repent. He forgives us and gives us a pure heart once again. And while God always forgives us, it doesn’t mean we should keep on sinning intentionally. We are all sinners, but loving God means that we want to avoid sins altogether. Yes, we are all human and become tempted, but we ought to strive to avoid sin by resisting the devil and clinging to the love of God! We need to guard our hearts so we do not fall into temptation.
