• Decide to love people despite how they treat you. Read 1 John 4:20-21 to strengthen your actions in this area.
• Consciously remind yourself that we were all created in the likeness and image of God, so be respectful of the people you come in contact with. (Genesis 1:26)
• When you fall or sin, immediately go on your knees and ask for forgiveness before it’s too late.
• Get involved with Christian outreach projects to develop a heart of compassion.
• Send a text to encourage someone you know who is going through hard times.
• Thank God every day for being alive; approximately 151,600 people die every day.
• Make it your habit to start each day with a prayer as soon as you wake up — this will remind you that God is the number one priority in your life.
• Develop an appetite to serve others; this is the fastest way to elevate your own life. (Matthew 20:26)
• If you are struggling with an addiction that harms your relationship with God, entirely remove the object of your obsession from your life.

When you struggle to forgive someone, read Matthew 18:23-35

• Don’t panic when you don’t see changes overnight, continue to sow in God, and you will be rewarded in due season. (Psalm 1:3)
• If you ever find yourself doubting God, don’t panic. Is this common among Christians worldwide, and even Billy Graham once struggled with doubt? Instead, keep praying for God to strengthen you, and be assured that He will help you overcome your doubts.
• Work hard so that you can be fruitful in what God has called you to do; this will prevent you from coveting or envying others who were diligent enough to succeed in their calling. (Colossians 3:23)
• If you struggle with praying, make it a habit to time yourself in prayer, starting with 5 minutes a day and working up to 10 minutes, until you can pray for half an hour or more.
• Download uplifting worship songs to your phone or iPod to lift you when you feel down.
• Fill your smartphone with empowering sermons from your favorite preachers and listen to them when you have free time or while driving.
• Disassociate yourself from the mockers and slanderers. 1 Corinthians 15:33 says, “Do not be misled: Bad company corrupts good character.”

Those around you will influence you!

• Distance yourself from those who intentionally try to anger or offend you. Proverbs 4:23 says, “Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it.”
• Set a target of telling at least one person every day about Jesus and the good news of salvation. (Proverbs 11:30)
• Buy a pocket-sized Bible and distribute it to the people you evangelize.
• Please don’t waste your time trying to convince people who reject salvation; don’t let their disbelief rub off on you. (Matthew 10:14)
• Make it a habit to listen to the audio version of the Bible when you can, whether while driving or at the gym, so that it can sink into your subconscious.
  
• Learn to listen to the voice of God; there are plenty of sermons on YouTube that will point you in the right direction.
• Be polite to people without expecting politeness in return; remember that we live not to please men but God.
• Go through your phone contacts and evangelize to each one.
• Pray daily and pray with your whole heart, not like the Pharisees, trying to impress anyone, but rather to merely communicate with God.
• Let go of your shameful past, and let your past failures and regrets show you why you need Christ more than ever. (Philippians 3:13)

Think about how your decision may affect others before you come to any conclusion.

• When you pray, pray as if Jesus were standing beside you, hearing every single word that comes out of your mouth. This method will help you to pray from the heart with more emotion.
• When negative thoughts attack your mind, please rebuke them immediately. The apostle Paul said in Philippians 4:8 that we should only think lovely, admirable, and praiseworthy thoughts.
• Sing praise songs with all your heart when you have the opportunity, from the shower when you start your day to the dishes after supper, and later when you are getting ready for bed.
• Once a month, find a solitary place to spend the whole day with God in fasting, prayer, and study of His words.
• Frequently monitor and examine your spiritual growth by reviewing the evidence of your new nature. In Galatians 5:22-23, the Apostle Paul states that the fruit of the Holy Spirit will produce fresh fruits in our lives, including joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.
• Ask God to forgive you for your sins; true repentance is clearly understood as changing your mind, from wanting to sin to not sinning at all. This results in a change in our actions.
• If you sin, don’t beat yourself up or feel condemned; the devil will use this type of emotion to destroy you. Sincerely repent, ask God for forgiveness, and then move on.
• Purchase a Bible study devotional you love to make your time with the Bible more enjoyable.
• Memorize Romans 8:28. This verse will keep you going in tough times, plus other helpful scriptures.

• Don’t read the Bible solely to build a relationship with God. But usually, the more you know, the more you can understand and begin to operate within the nature of Christ.
• Buy a journal and monitor your personal spiritual growth in Christ. Write about and pray for those individuals you witness to and care about each day.
• Keep a Bible study journal and write down biblical study notes. Later, reflect on your revision notes to keep your knowledge of Christ fresh.
• Call, email, or text those whom you have witnessed or care about regularly. But please put it on your calendar. That might help your body stay in shape so you can? love and help others.
• Listen to faith-based audio while you work, and let it create a holy atmosphere around your actions.
• Cultivate your gifts and godly passions, knowing that He has deposited specific gifts in you for you to use. For example, God wouldn’t bless you with a talented singing voice if He didn’t want you to use it for His glory. (Proverbs 22:29)
• Sincerely ask Jesus to help you overcome the weaknesses you struggle with, and be assured that he will. (Matthew 11:28)
• Look for opportunities to help the elderly, disabled, widows, orphans, or anyone with health problems or emotional issues.

Wipe the log out of your eye before trying to wipe the speck out of your brother’s and sister’s eyes.

• Watch YouTube testimonies of individuals who overcame struggles you are currently facing through Christ; listening to such testimonies is a sure way to boost your hope in the Lord.
• Spend more time reading the Bible than you spend on social media.
• Follow a Bible reading plan to add structure to your life.
• Write prayer points before you pray to help organize your time in prayer.
• After praying for what you are asking God for, write down a plan of action, then begin pursuing the godly desires of your heart. James 2:17 says, “Faith without works is dead.”
• Watch Christian movies that remind you how much Jesus loves us and that he suffered for us; a recommended movie is The Passion of the Christ.
• Download the Bible App to make the Word of God readily available, especially when traveling.
• Listen to sermons while you drive, and make your journey productive.
• Set aside a day to enjoy a prayer walk through your city, praying for churches, schools, and the issues plaguing the community.

• Study the Bible every day without fail. (Colossians 3:16)
• Read books on how to increase your faith and walk with the Lord.
• When you find yourself struggling to pray, play worship music in the background, as this should make it easier to focus your mind on God.
• Ask the Holy Spirit to guide you at all times. (John 14:26)
• Write a gratitude list to remind yourself of everything you’re thankful for in your life.
• Don’t look down on yourself, thinking others are more spiritual than you. It’s by His grace we are saved. (Roman 3:10)
• If you struggle to read your Version of the Bible, use the NIV or Good News Version.
• Make a covenant with yourself now not to let your achievements, accolades, and status in life make you arrogant. Proverbs 16:18 tells us, “Pride goes before destruction, a haughty spirit before a fall.”
• Print out empowering Biblical affirmations and repeat each declaration until you begin to develop a new image of yourself in Christ.
• Make a habit of finding a meaningful Bible verse each day to memorize and meditate on; this is one of the fastest ways to renew your mind and align yourself with God’s perfect will over your life. (Joshua 1:8)

Don’t let your emotions guide you; instead, let the Word of God be your compass. (2 Corinthians 5:7)

• If you find yourself weak in faith, ask your fellow brothers and sisters in Christ to pray for you. (James 5:14)
• Don’t be discouraged. (John 14:1)
• When you pray, remember to pray from your heart; if your prayer is flat and lifeless, how can you expect God to take you seriously?
• Challenge yourself to study the Bible regularly so that your faith can increase exponentially. Romans 10:17 explains that the more you read the Bible, the more your understanding and faith increase.
• Mentally prepare yourself for persecution for your faith in Christ. (Mark 13:13)
• Jump for joy any time anyone insults you for placing your trust in Jesus. The more they offend you, the more blessings you will receive. (Matthew 5:11)
• Take a walk around your community to remind yourself of God’s gifts, provisions, and beautiful creations. Take the opportunity to appreciate the sky, trees, birds, and more.

• Be outstanding in your workplace to glorify your Father in Heaven.
• Don’t look at challenging times in your life as hardships; instead, see them as a test from God. (James 1:2-4)
• Thank God for every good gift, and let Him know that you are observant of His generosity in your life. God will not shy away from continuously blessing you if He knows you are aware of His incredible gestures. (James 1:17)
• Eat and exercise regularly to feel energized and confident, regardless of your mood.
• Find yourself an accountability partner in your journey in Christ. Hill Song New York: Pastor Carl Lentz and his associates used this strategy by holding themselves accountable to share Jesus with at least one person a day.
• Tell one new person about Christ every day.

Share your testimonies with others; this will help lay a foundation for others to strengthen their faith and draw near God.

• Cultivate a Good Samaritan attitude by volunteering your time and resources to help random people in your community who need assistance. (Luke 10:25-37)
• Use the Word of God as a shield to overcome the enemy’s lies when he whispers in your ear; Jesus used this tactic to defeat the devil in the wilderness. (Matthew 4:3)
• The most incredible gospel you can preach is the life you are living. Strive to live a righteous life so that people can see the reflection of God in your behavior. (Matthew 5:16)
• Fast every month to detox your body, humble your flesh, and build up your inner Spirit.
• Educate yourself about the Holy Spirit. In John 14:26, Jesus mentioned that the Holy Spirit is your advocate and will guide you into all truth.
• Read the Bible as your primary source of reading.
• Keep your word, and do whatever it takes to follow through on what you say you will do. Keep to this principle, which will give you a trustworthy reputation and glorify your Father in Heaven.
• Never make a promise quickly, and think critically before speaking to ensure you can keep it.
• Gain insight into the devil’s schemes so that you don’t fall into his traps. Learn from your past mistakes.
• Read a Bible verse before you go to sleep to lay the foundation for waking up with your spirits already lifted.
• When in public places (for example, your work), pray regularly in your heart to continue your relationship with God.

• Pay back the money you owe. (Luke 19:8)
• When lending money to someone, only borrow what you are prepared not to get back. This way, if you are not paid, you will not grow resentful towards the person who owes you.
• Pay your tithes and offerings; this discipline will show Him that you place His word above material possessions.
• Practice smiling more often, as this will make you a happier person.
• Choose to do one thing a day that puts you out of your comfort zone. It’s usually the uncomfortable activities that bring us the most significant results.
• Make it your aim to surround yourself with spirit-filled believers who are sold out for Christ, so that simply being in their presence will drastically increase your dedication to Christ.
• Join a local Bible study group, for Proverbs 27:17 says, “As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another.”
• Attend church regularly.
• After your church service finishes, make a habit of introducing yourself to new people and making more friends within the faith. (2 Timothy 2:15)
