Religion vs Relationship With God!

Explore how accepting Jesus as Lord and Savior—rather than relying on rituals or good deeds—brings forgiveness of sins and eternal life.

In growing a genuine relationship with Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior, we shift from the burden of trying to earn salvation through works into embracing the freedom offered by God’s boundless love and unmerited favor. We realize that no good deeds can earn us eternal life; instead, we find true peace and assurance only by accepting Jesus’ gift of redemption. I cannot, and I will not, promise that having a relationship with Jesus will erase all your problems and concerns, but I can promise you that you will have Jesus to cast all your cares upon Him, and He will give you guidance, strength, and direction from His word in the Bible. In addition to saving us from our sins, Jesus is our eternal Savior. He offers us peace and strength in times of trial and pain. He sets the perfect example for us, and His teachings are the basis for happiness in this life and in the world to come. ~ Bill Greguska

A Better Relationship With Jesus Will Guide You!

A Personal Relationship With Jesus?

How is your relationship with Jesus?

Many people grow up attending church, knowing some things about Jesus, but do not understand why they need a relationship with Jesus. When you have a relationship with Jesus, you trust that his sacrificial death on the cross for our sins determines our eternal destiny in either heaven or hell, depending on the free choice He allows us. Many of us have had a relationship with Jesus since we were young, but that does not mean we understand everything about Jesus. When I was about six, I understood that God was good and that I needed to listen to him.

When I got older, about 12, my understanding grew, yet my faith was somewhat immature. But when the winds of high school blew hard, and the temptations of alcohol and drugs clouded my thinking, and alcohol and drugs clouded my thinking and my relationship with Jesus, my life fell apart right before my eyes.

Like many young people, I thought the world revolved around me and my relationships with others. Thank God there was a point in my life when I accepted Jesus as my Lord and Savior, realizing that my relationship with Jesus was the most important one I needed. The other relationships in my life were unnecessary, but my relationship with Jesus far outranked them. ~ Bill Greguska

God Does Not Make Us Love Him!

It is not that Jesus changed; it is that I, with my free will, chose to do what was evil. I was still bothered by my conscience, but I eventually got over it and numbed my conscience, which allowed me to keep using drugs and alcohol. Thank God for my Godly mother, who stood up for me. She supported and loved me more than anyone in my life. That love was what I needed (people need love). God allowed me to go through long-term treatment, which was just what I needed. God never changes! He is the same yesterday, today, and forever. You and I change; hopefully, we are changing for the better! ~ Bill Greguska
