Jesus does miracles in our lives every day, whether we realize it or not. Sometimes, though, we might refuse to acknowledge His blessings. But if we step back and reflect on all that has happened in our lives, we can see how the Lord has been working behind the scenes. I have experienced this firsthand in my own life and in the lives of many others around me. Back in 1986, I was addicted to alcohol and drugs – a lifestyle that should have killed me several times over. Do you believe in miracles? Given what I have gone through in my life, I have experienced many miracles!

There Are Also Stories Like My Friend Betty Pinette, Who Had Cancer But Still Believed She Would Experience A Miracle Healing Either Here On Earth, Or With Jesus In Heaven. She Got Her Miracle By Being Healed In Heaven! The Point Is That Jesus Does Miracles Today Just Like He Did During Biblical Times!

Do Miracles Still Happen?

Do miracles happen every day in ways both big and small? They may go unnoticed or fail to capture our attention, but they are there nonetheless. So, do miracles still happen? I firmly believe that God works miracles in our lives, orchestrating events and occurrences that defy explanation. Sometimes we are fortunate enough to be aware of these miracles, while at other times they remain hidden from our sight. Yet even the simplest things can be seen as a miracle if we open our hearts and genuinely appreciate them. Cessationists and Continuationists have their own views. Miracles ended in the first century with the apostles, BUT that does not mean God can not do what He wants.

Just take a moment to consider the rhythmic beating of your heart right now – isn’t it miraculous? We often take such wonders for granted, failing to recognize the divine intervention behind them. The miracles Jesus performed during his time on earth are potent reminders of God’s limitless power and boundless love for us all. From turning water into wine to walking on water and raising the dead, Jesus showcased the extraordinary possibilities when faith intertwines with divinity. In my own life, I have experienced firsthand God’s transformative miracles when he released me from the grips of addiction – first alcohol and drugs on June 25th, 1986, followed by quitting cigarettes on January 10th, 1988. At times, I doubted whether breaking these chains would ever come true; however, these miracles unfolded before me through unwavering faith and trust in God’s plan. Healing Miracles of Jesus!

“Jesus went through all the towns and villages, teaching in their synagogues, proclaiming the good news of the kingdom and healing every disease and sickness.” ~ Matthew 9:35

 

Jesus’s healing is for today just as much as it was when he walked the earth and performed miracles of healing the sick and disabled. The Bible says, “But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and we are healed by his wounds.” ~ Isaiah 53:5 Jesus can still heal today! 

 

“And a woman was there who had been crippled by a spirit for eighteen years. She was bent over and could not straighten up. When Jesus saw her, he called her forward and said to her, “Woman, you are set free from your infirmity.” Then he put his hands on her, and immediately she straightened up and praised God.” ~ Luke 13:11-13

 

 

How Can I Know If Jesus Does Miracles Still Today?

According to the Gospel accounts, here are the miracles Jesus performed. Though this is an incomplete list, according to John 21:25, “Jesus did many other things as well. If every one of them was written down, I suppose that even the whole world would not have room for the books that would be written.”
Do not let anyone tell you that God no longer does miracles. That is entirely wrong because miracles happen. Just getting up to start a new day is a miracle in itself! The bottom line is that, with God’s power, He can still do a miracle whenever He wishes, because miracles still happen today! Jesus used miracles as signs to those back in the time of Christ to further the Gospel with believers who did not already have the Bible as we do in modern times. Plus, Jesus needed to fulfill His prophecies.
