This page encourages readers not only to study the Bible but also to apply its teachings to everyday life. We recommend beginning with John or Proverbs, reading prayerfully, and focusing on understanding rather than quantity. The page connects common struggles—such as fear, guilt, loneliness, temptation, depression, and financial worry—with relevant Scripture. Its central message is that God’s Word provides wisdom, direction, forgiveness, hope, and salvation through Jesus Christ.
It was not until I started applying the Bible and began to understand it better that I could see more clearly that God had a plan for my life, and that it was far better than my own goal. I am grateful that God’s word has given me good direction. I believe that the Bible is the inspired word of God. Do you want to understand the Bible better and apply it? It takes a little effort, prayer, and the desire to know God more!

Proverbs 3:13-14 Blessed are those who find wisdom, those who gain understanding, for she is more profitable than silver and yields better returns than gold.

About the Author:

In 2007, my pastor Ron Sauer and his wife Sue saw how depressed I was due to my wife giving up on our marriage. Ron and Sue encouraged me to encourage others. They were wise to know that if I reached out to help others, my problems would be put into perspective. I took their advice and it really helped! I trust you will find the encouragement you need here on our website. You can also call Need Him Phone Ministry 800-633-3446 or the Billy Graham prayer line 877-772-4559. God bless you! Bill Greguska
