Encouragement acts as a gentle nudge, guiding us toward God, where the answers we seek are resting, eagerly waiting for us when we pray. Simple encouragement has an incredible power. A kind word or deed may seem insignificant at times, yet its effect on someone’s life can be immeasurable! Life can be as complicated as we make it, but amidst all the chaos and confusion, there is a beacon of hope that offers peace and clarity. A person does not have to be smart or have a lot of money. The key lies in keeping things simple—stripping away the unnecessary complexities that burden our minds and souls.

Joshua 1:9  Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged; for the Lord, your God, will be with you wherever you go.”

Do Unto Others As You Would Want To Be Treated!

So, let us take a moment to ponder what encourages us, allowing ourselves to feel inspired by those very same actions or words when addressing others in our lives. By treating them with kindness and compassion, just as we would desire for ourselves, we create positivity that spreads far beyond our existence. Consider what would encourage you for a moment, then consider doing the same for others. Just as it is written in Luke 6:31: “Do to others as you would have them do to you.” ~ Bill Greguska

How Often Do You Experience Encouragement?

Simple Encouragement Is Often The Best!

Please keep it simple with simple encouragement!

My dad used to tell me simple encouragement: “You can’t always be jumping up and down spitting quarters.”

The point he was trying to make to me when I was a kid was that there are times when things will be going well for us, and times when they won’t.

I have learned to be thankful for the good times and find contentment in the more challenging times, trusting that God’s timing will bring relief and growth, helping you feel peaceful and hopeful amid difficulties.

Not every day is a mountaintop experience. Simultaneously, the bad days do not last forever; the sun will come up tomorrow and give us a new day. ~ Bill Greguska

Are Some Of You Reading This Feeling Far From God?

Or feel like he abandoned you or doesn’t care. That can happen when we are hurt, face loss, or experience betrayal. But we must remember that Adam and Eve had a big part in what we all face in this earthly world. They chose to disobey God and, with that choice, brought us all the pain, hurt, sin, sickness, and death we face in our world. And Satan caused it all.

Believe me!

I have asked God these very questions at times. God, why did you do this to my family and me? Why are YOU picking on me? Don’t you love me, God? Why me, God, why??? I  will always be grateful to the Pastor for helping me understand that was not the case. God did love me even when I didn’t believe it or feel it. Matthew 5:45 says you may be children of your Father in Heaven. He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous.

During the darkest times of my life, someone or something would remind me of the Cross and what Christ did for me-
If I had been the only person in this world, God would have sent Jesus to die for me. I was also reminded that God, too, lost His only son. So when I felt the pain of loss and grief and hurt or betrayal, I was reminded I had a  God who did understand my pain, even though I didn’t understand God or the Whys at times. We may never have all the answers to our “WHYS” on this side of Heaven.

We Live In A World of Quick-Responses!

  • We have a drive-thru so that we can get food in 2 minutes.
  • We have same-day Amazon delivery.
  • We have Google to get an answer to a question in seconds.
  • We have internet phones and computers to share information without talking to anyone.

However, when it comes to God, we serve HIM. He doesn’t serve us. He can choose to share things. And it’s strictly on His timetable. There are things in this world we will never understand, and only God can share or reveal them to us. He wouldn’t be God if He did. He can also, at times, withhold sharing to protect us, too. When he feels we are strong enough, he may share or reveal. But again, it’s in his time, not ours. Deuteronomy 29:29 says, ” Secret Things Belong To God.” In His time, God may choose to reveal it. But waiting is the hardest part.

All we go through on this earth can help us have more compassion for others and greater understanding. We can be a source of support and a vessel of love and hope for someone else. We will never know what someone is going through until we ask them. I am thankful if any of what I said today helps or blesses you.

Blessings, Peg ~ Anonymous
