Overview of the 613 Commandments

The Torah, central to Jewish tradition, contains 613 commandments known as mitzvot. These commandments are derived from the Hebrew Bible and encompass a wide range of laws that guide ethical, ritual, and civil behavior.

The 613 mitzvot can be categorized into two main types:
