Happiness is a big part of human life, and it’s easy to fall into the trap of believing that material or financial possessions arewhat ultimately bring us joy. However, this couldn’t be further from the truth because true happiness comes from enjoying what we already have in our lives. My sense of humor is a very precious quality that I could not see living without. Life can be difficult, yet with a spoonful of laughter, life is so much easier to swallow.
Ralph Waldo Emerson Once Say, “Happiness Is Like A Bottle Of Perfume, You Cannot Pour It On Others Without Getting A Few Drops On Yourself.” It’s Essential To Redefine Our Definition Of Happiness. God’s Purpose For Us Isn’t Just About Being Happy, But Also About Being Obedient, Which Leads To Fulfillment Along The Way! Are You Happy?
John 13:34-35 “A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this, everyone will know that you are my disciples if you love one another.”
Let’s focus not only on acquiring more things but also on cherishing what we already possess while remaining faithful toGod’s plan for our lives– because there lies true happiness! ~ Bill Greguska

What Is Happiness? Are You Really Happy?
Real happiness is about loving God and others, although I enjoyed playing basketball growing up!
Happiness is being able to love God and love others.
Happiness and joy are not the same; your happenings determine happiness, but fun and comfort are from God inside your heart!
When you are asked, are you happy? Or how are you doing? What is your usual response? One significant thing many people do wrong is comparing themselves to other people.
Not every moment of my day is full of joy and happiness, but in the big picture, I find that a sunny day is interrupted by some sad moments here and there.
When I was younger and less mature, this was more of a daily practice. When I got older and a little wiser, I learned to detach from my feelings so that the so-called bad feelings would not dominate the rest of the day.
Dwelling on, re-running old tapes, and keeping records of the wrongs others have done to you are sure ways of preventing your day from reaching its maximum potential for happiness. ~ Bill Greguska
Psalm 37:4 Take delight in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart.
It would be a lie if I said that every moment of every day of my life, I was full of happiness, although I can tell you that my life has direction and purpose because of my relationship with God.To find happiness in your heart, you need to define what absolute joy is and know where to go to discover it. My former Pastor, Stuart Briscoe from Elmbrook Church, has a tongue-twisting yet so very exact definition of happiness that goes like this:
“Many people feel that their happiness is directly related to their happenings.
If their happenings happen the way they want them to, they are happy.
But if things happen the way they want them to happen, they are unhappy!”~ Pastor Stuart Briscoe
If this describes you, you can now choose to find your true happiness and encouragement by following the example and teaching ofJesus Christ.Just to let you know, my life has changed because of my relationship with God through His Son. I am still growing and not quite where I want to be yet, but I’m sure NOT where I used to be! We areall works in progress.
