It may sound strange to hear that sin is pleasurable, but it is, without a doubt, true, or we would not be so tempted to do it. It is like a fish swallowing a pleasurable worm, but getting caught on the hook’s barb, and becoming a victim of something the fish thought was going to be enjoyable. That is just how it is when we fall for sinful temptation: we get the “pleasure,” but we also get the pain and consequences of our sin. It may seem almost impossible to avoid sin sometimes, but with God’s help, you can overcome sin. Let me assure you that it can be done. The key to preventing evil lies in the realization that we are not our own – we have been purchased with a priceless gift: the blood of Jesus Christ shed on the cross for our sins. Do you want to know how to avoid evil? It is when we follow God rather than succumb to the temptations of this world or those of the devil that we can rest assured that though sin might temporarily please, its consequences are dire and lead us down a path of destruction.
Yes, Without A Doubt ~ Sin Is Pleasurable For A Very Short Season. Choosing To Do The Will Of Our Flesh For Immediate Gratification ~ Compared To Waiting On God’s Is Like Choosing Between Eating Crumbs Now ~ Or Waiting For A Grand Feast Later By Doing Things God’s Way!
Choosing immediate gratification through sin ultimately leads us to settle for less than God has planned for us, leaving us dissatisfied and always wanting more. But even though our flesh may be weak and prone to temptation, we can resist evil by remembering who paid the ultimate price for our redemption and striving daily to live according to His perfect will. So take heart! Avoiding evil is challenging, but doable when you believe in Jesus Christ! Keeping a distance from sin is wise, yet sometimes unavoidable; that is why prayer is so very critical for avoiding evil. Do not fight evil with evil, but evil with good. ~ Bill Greguska

You Can Avoid Evil! Three Types Of Sin To Avoid!
The sin of not doing something we ought to do is called the sin of omission.
There is also the sin of commission, which is doing something God instructs us not to do.
There is a third type called personal sin, committed daily by every human being by disobeying God’s word.
Yes ~ There Is Pleasure In Sin!
But sin keeps us apart from God. Bearing in mind that one sin is not greater than another sin. Sometimes, to avoid evil, it is best to avoid people, places, and things that will most likely lead you to sin. Sin is sin, whether in the form of a lie, murder, homosexuality, stealing, or whatever. God hates sin, and avoiding evil should be one of your most important objectives! When we sin, we need to ask God and those we have sinned against (or offended) for forgiveness, then turn away from our sin and ask God to help us avoid it as much as we can.
Why Do We Still Feel Guilty If God Has Forgiven Our Sins?
Realize That The Pleasure Of Sin Is Fleeting! You Can Avoid Evil!
Yes, sin is definitely in our fallen world, and there is also pleasure in sin, but it is short-lived and leads to death. Does the test come when we choose if we love the sin more or the Lord more? I am not saying that we will sin anymore once we follow Jesus Christ and his teachings, but your sin will look so much uglier than it was before, and God will give you the strength to fight it, the grace to get through it, and forgiveness to be cleansed from it!
Please be sure to realize that your faith is evident to the whole, the Impure, and others. By the way, how do you live your life and react to a stressful situation? If you want to start or build a relationship with God, you need to trust in God more. You can test your faith when you find joy in difficult times, not only when times are going well! You can check your faith by how you react to situations, how you talk, how you behave, how you think about others, and how you treat them. Hopefully, you have a strong faith in God, but if you are not sure what you believe yet, you can test your faith where it is now and find out more below and throughout our website. ~ Bill Greguska
Are There Differences Between Sins?
I have heard it said that murder, rape, or robbing a bank is a major sin. Let’s say the so-called little sins include telling a white lie. Taking a small item from someone or something like that is a minor sin. There are many types of sins, but all are against God and must be accounted for and punished. That is why God gave us his only son to die on the cross, a painful death, to cover up the many different sins we commit.
I thank God for what he has done, and to show my gratitude, I do my best not to sin, and when I do, I ask for forgiveness right away.
God’s arrows of affliction are sharp and painful to get our attention. He won’t let His beloved children get away with sin because He knows it robs us of blessings, opportunities, and even character refinement. ~ Charles Stanley
