Jesus does miracles in our lives every day, whether we realize it or not. Sometimes, though, we might refuse to acknowledge His blessings. But if we step back and reflect on all that has happened in our lives, we can see how the Lord has been working behind the scenes. I have experienced this firsthand in my own life and in the lives of many others around me. Back in 1986, I was addicted to alcohol and drugs – a lifestyle that should have killed me several times over. Do you believe in miracles? Given what I have gone through in my life, I have experienced many miracles! My friend Betty Pinette had cancer, yet she strongly insisted that she was going to be healed 100%. It shocked me to hear her say that, yet she continued by saying that she will be healed right in the hospital, or in heaven. She was right, she was healed in heaven!

Matthew 13:58  And he did not do many miracles there because of their lack of faith.

Healing Miracles of Jesus!

“Jesus went through all the towns and villages, teaching in their synagogues, proclaiming the good news of the kingdom and healing every disease and sickness.” ~ Matthew 9:35

 

Jesus’s healing is for today just as much as it was when he walked the earth and performed miracles of healing the sick and disabled. The Bible says, “But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and his wounds heal us.” ~ Isaiah 53:5 Jesus can still heal today! 

 

“And a woman was there who had been crippled by a spirit for eighteen years. She was bent over and could not straighten up. When Jesus saw her, he called her forward and said to her, “Woman, you are set free from your infirmity.” Then he put his hands on her, and immediately she straightened up and praised God.” ~ Luke 13:11-13

 

 

How Can I Know If Jesus Does Miracles Still Today?

According to the Gospel accounts, here are the miracles Jesus performed. Though this is an incomplete list, according to John 21:25, “Jesus did many other things as well. If every one of them were written down, I suppose that even the whole world would not have room for the books that would be written.”
Do not let anyone tell you that God no longer does miracles. That is entirely wrong because miracles happen. Just getting up to start a new day is a miracle in itself! The bottom line is that, with God’s power, He can still do a miracle whenever He wishes, because miracles still happen today! Jesus used miracles as signs for those in Christ’s time to further the Gospel to believers who did not yet have the Bible as we do in modern times. Plus, Jesus needed to fulfill His prophecies.
