How To Sort Out Your Thoughts And Feelings? Would You Like To Chat?
- Talking aloud about what’s going on in your head and explaining it to someone else, even if you think it doesn’t make sense, helps clarify what you worry about.
- Saying things out loud often makes them less scary, and at least by having to sort through your feelings, you know more about what you’re dealing with and can have a better perspective.
- If you have been keeping things to yourself, a situation can seem way more overwhelming than it is. The person you tell might help you see the problem from a new or different perspective.
- Someone outside the situation will be more objective about what’s happening and might have solutions. You can find answers by thinking through the problem and its possible solutions.
- Keeping things inside only lets them build up, and things can get confusing and possibly more difficult.

How To Pray For Others
Do You Guard Your Mouth When You Chat With Someone?
Do You Have Any Questions, or Would You Like To Chat?
Please don’t keep your problems to yourself. Chatting online is a safe way to share your thoughts and feelings. I have learned to talk with others by first praying about my situation with God. After that, I feel it is appropriate to speak with a close friend or a pastor. I have talked with Pastor Mark Mallwitz for about 25 years and Sue Sauer for about 20 years. It was a gift from God that they pointed me to Jesus Christ, and what they share with me comes from God’s word. Not everyone has a Mark or Sue in their lives, so in that case, it is still essential to bounce things off others, preferably those who know the Lord as their Savior.
Deciding who you want to talk to is an essential first step. I strongly suggest talking to God about matters before speaking with anyone. If you don’t talk about your problems, you may find your growing tensions or feelings burst out inappropriately. You might also notice that things can worsen if you don’t get on top of them as soon as possible. When you talk or chat with another person, a burden is divided. When you share the good news, it is multiplied. ~ Bill Greguska
