Please get in touch with us if you have any questions or need some encouragement.
On this page, we talk about when life feels overwhelming; it helps to pray first and then talk with someone you trust, because sharing your burdens can bring perspective, relief, and encouragement. It points readers to Christian counseling, Bible verses, chat options, and many other sources of encouragement, while emphasizing that people do not have to face struggles alone. Chatting with someone online can be incredibly helpful for sharing your thoughts and emotions. We often keep everything bottled up, which is unhealthy for everyone. But at the same time, it can feel overwhelming to constantly share our problems, which can burden friendships and relationships. Would you like to chat with someone?

First Pray Then Talk With Someone!
When you pray about your concerns first, it helps put things in perspective, but sometimes you need that extra support from wise counsel. A mentor or counselor is also a great option to consider.

Do You Have Any Questions, or Would You Like To Chat?
Please don’t keep your problems to yourself. Chatting online is a safe way to share your thoughts and feelings. I have learned to talk with others by first praying to God about my situation. After that, I feel it is appropriate to speak with a close friend or a pastor. I have talked with Pastor Mark Mallwitz for about 25 years, and Sue Sauer since 2003. It was a gift from God that they pointed me to Jesus Christ, and what they share with me comes from God’s word. Not everyone has a Mark or Sue in their lives, so in that case, it is still essential to bounce things off others, preferably those who know the Lord as their Savior.
Deciding who you want to talk to is an essential first step. I strongly suggest talking to God about matters before speaking with anyone. If you don’t talk about your problems, you may find your growing tensions or feelings burst out inappropriately. You might also notice that things can worsen if you don’t get on top of them as soon as possible. When you talk or chat with another person, a burden is divided. When you share the good news, it is multiplied. ~ Bill Greguska
