In our society, why is sex considered dirty? Sex is not meant for those who are not married or of the same sex. Unfortunately, many people do not honestly know the truth about sex. In today’s society, young people and those a little older have made sex commonplace due to the sexual revolution in the 1960s-1970s. Way too many parents have not educated their children with Christian teaching about sex. An analogy is like a teenager trying to drive a car without any proper instructions; an accident is waiting to happen. 

Sex Should Never Be Treated As Something Casual! Sex Should Not Be Done Before Marriage Because That Goes Against God And Respecting One Another As He Commanded! Instead Of Using Sex For Temporary Gratification, Like In Sports Games, We Must Treat Our Bodies And Others With Respect By Waiting For True Love And Commitment In Marriage.

1 Corinthians 6:18  Flee from sexual immorality. All other sins a person commits are outside the body, but whoever sins sexually sins against their own body.

Is Sex For Marriage Only ~ Not For Anything Else?

Have you had sex outside of marriage and felt convicted in your heart? The first question I would ask you is whether sex is only meant for marriage. It should be a statement, “Sex outside of marriage may be pleasurable for a short season, but with disobedience to God’s word, there is a penalty for sin. Sex is not a sport as the media has made it out to be.
God created men and women to be able to have sex to reproduce in a marriage bond.” Not in a flippant manner, as our society has made it seem. But if you want to date someone, the best thing to do when you find someone you care about and love is to agree that you will both wait for marriage to have sex. Sex outside of marriage is a sin. If your dating partner cannot agree to that, then it would be best, in the long run, to put the relationship on hold until you get things resolved. When you agree with the answer to the question, “Is sex only meant for marriage?” and have integrity and self-control to keep your commitment to God, yourself, and your partner, your future will look much brighter.

 

 

 

God’s Way ~ Or Satan’s Way?

God intended sex to be a beautiful thing between one man and one woman to keep the world populated. Our sinful world has attempted to change what God meant for good. Here are a couple of definitions of how sex has gotten distorted and sinful.

The definition of debauchery = is extreme indulgence in bodily pleasures and especially sexual pleasures: behavior involving sex, drugs, alcohol, etc., that is often considered immoral.

The definition of lewd = is crude and offensive in a sexual way. “She began to gyrate to the music and sing a lewd song.”

Definition of lascivious = filled with or showing sexual desire: lewd, lustful, lascivious acts/thoughts

 

 

 

Some Specific Scriptures To Encourage You:

Hebrews 13:4 ESV 

Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the marriage bed be undefiled, for God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterous.

1 Corinthians 7:2 ESV

But because of the temptation to sexual immorality, each man should have his own wife and each woman her own husband.

Matthew 5:28 ESV 

But I say to you that everyone who looks at a woman with lustful intent has already committed adultery with her in his heart.

1 Corinthians 6:18-20 ESV

Flee from sexual immorality. Every other sin a person commits is outside the body, but the sexually immoral person sins against his own body. Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. So glorify God in your body.
