Homosexuality is a topic that has been widely discussed in recent years, and it’s important to acknowledge that everyone deserves respect and kindness, regardless of their sexual orientation. I’ve had the opportunity to meet some homosexual people throughout my life, and some of them have been friendly individuals I have encountered. So then, what about homosexuality? Yes, it is a sin that God can forgive, provided the person has a repentant heart.
We Must Understand That God Considers Homosexuality A Sin, Such As Any Other Sin. This Doesn’t Mean That Homosexuals Are Either Good Or Bad People Or Should Be Treated Differently; It Simply Means That This Behavior Goes Against God’s Will. We Should Treat Everyone With Love And Compassion But Never Forget What God Has Commanded!
Colossians 3:5 Put to death, therefore, whatever belongs to your earthly nature: sexual immorality, impurity, lust, evil desires, and greed, which is idolatry.
Remember, homosexuality is no worse than any other sin in the eyes of God. Although we can choose the sins we commit, we can not choose the consequences. The message many gays and lesbianshear is that God hates them. See why this is not true. What does the Bible say about the topic of homosexuality? Do you feel being a homosexual is a personal choice to be made? Did God create people to be homosexual? There is a good chance of knowing someone gay or lesbian at work, school, or in the community.
The question is not whether homosexuality is right or wrong for you. But the real problem is what God says about homosexuality and whether it honors Him or not. Yes, the Bible tells us that homosexuality is a sin, yet many people forget that fact is no different from stealing, lying, rage, witchcraft, etc. All sin is an offense against a Holy God and causes a separation between God and us. Jesus Christ died for all of our sins, not just some.

I am not saying that homosexual people can not be good people because I believe that a substantial percentage of them are decent people. I am saying that the Bible instructs us to flee from all sexual immorality. 1 Corinthians 6:18
Let us stop pointing our fingers at others because three fingers look right back at you when we do that. God calls us to love one another. If we are aware that homosexuality is a sin, and if we love one another, we will share that with them in a caring and loving way, without passing judgment on them, because each one of us has our sins that Satan uses to try to destroy us, but rather point them to what God’s word says about homosexuality.

To be wise, we must follow God’s will. Otherwise, there are often consequences for doing things our way. God isn’t punishing us. All he is doing isprotecting us from ourselves. When we do things our way, things don’t function as well as when we do things His way.
If people waited to have sex until they were in acommitted, loving marriage, there would be far fewer sexually transmitted diseases, abortions, unwanted pregnancies, and children growing up without two parents in their lives. Sex has gotten out of control.

God’s Way, Or Satan’s Way?
God intended sex to be a beautiful thing between one man and one woman to keep the world populated. Our sinful world has attempted to change what God meant for good. Here are a couple of definitions of how sex has gotten distorted and evil.
The definition of debauchery = extreme indulgence in bodily pleasures and especially sexual pleasures: behavior involving sex, drugs, alcohol, etc. that is often considered immoral.
The definition of lewd = crude and offensive in a sexual way. “She began to gyrate to the music and sing a lewd song.”
Definition of lascivious = filled with or showing sexual desire: lewd, lustful, lascivious acts/thoughts
Is God Anti-Gay?
Homosexuality Is Not Another “Alternative Lifestyle.”
In the Hebrew-Christian Bible, there are multiple times in both the Old and New Testaments where homosexuality is mentioned. Other immoral activities are also explicitly condemned as dishonorable to God and the natural order (the way things were designed to work) and destructive to those involved. An entire chapter in the Old Testament lists specific activities and calls them “detestable,” stating in no uncertain terms, “Stay away!”
The New Testament uses five terms to describe male and female homosexual conduct: “unnatural” and “indecent.” Scripture throughout forbids us to be sexually involved in seven areas: with parents, with children, with brothers and sisters, with another spouse, with animals, with dead people, and with people of the same sex. These never change. Homosexuality is no greater or less of a sin than any other sin.
