God did not create us to walk alone; reach out for some accountability!

Please get in touch with us if you have any questions or need some encouragement.

In this journey we call life, it is wise to have others on your side. We are not meant to live life as a Lone Ranger, trying to maneuver through the pitfalls that come up in life. You can choose to continue struggling on your own or find a good Bible-believing church. We often try to fool ourselves into thinking we can pull ourselves up by our own bootstraps. This won’t take you where you want to be. I suggest you need an accountability partner.

Many People Would Love To Walk Alongside You. Also, If You Do Not Have A Church That You Are Attend Right Now, I Encourage You To Start At That Point By Finding A Good Bible-Believing Church To Have Them Come Alongside You (Killing Two Birds With One Stone). Most Likely Someone In The Church Would Be Willing To Mentor You As An Accountability Partner!

Proverbs 15:22 Plans fail for lack of counsel, but with many advisers, they succeed.

Why Do I Need An Accountability Partner?

Could An Accountability Partner Help…

Having an accountability partner in sexuality, or alcohol and drug abuse, or working out at the gym, budgeting money, and whatever specific personal needs a person might have. Having someone in your corner for encouragement and accountability is a wise move. Often, an accountability partnership can work for both you and a friend, making it a win-win.

Even if you are not going through significant difficulties right now, as I mentioned, it is wise to have someone on your side to help you navigate the problems that come up in life. ~ Bill Greguska

Accountability Partner?

Our first type of “accountability partner” is our parents. After that, it can be that of a big brother, big sister, cousin, friend, or, to an extent, coach, teacher, pastor, or counselor. It is wise to find a mentor to bounce ideas off and better understand why you should or should not do certain things. A mentor has the experience (life mileage) to know right from wrong.  (assuming that your mentor is a Christian). Sexual accountability can be very beneficial if you have someone you can trust. That is wise to direct you in the right direction—without accountability in sexuality areas, working out at the gym, alcohol, and drugs, and budgeting money. We all need an accountability partner.

Proverbs 3:5-6  Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways, submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.

What Are Accountability Questions Designed To Do?

Below are some key Accountability questions you can ask yourself or have a mentor ask you. These are designed for small groups and mentoring, from high school youth to seasoned adults. They are for men’s groups, women’s groups, and so forth.

Because there are many questions, please select three or four items each week. If there is a particular struggle area, add it as well. Also, incorporate one of the critical passages above and spend significant time in prayer:

  1. Did you spend time with God through His Word, prayer, quiet time, devotions, and other spiritual disciplines?
  2. Did you pray for others this week?
  3. Are you satisfied with the time you spent with our Lord this week?
  4. Did you go to church or any other Christian fellowship-related gatherings?
  5. Have your thoughts drifted away from the goals you have set in your life?
  6. If so, how can you help to get your thinking back on track?
