Sharing your faith means letting others know what God has done in your life!

Do you share your faith, and are you not afraid to share the gospel with others? It’s understandable that you might feel nervous or intimidated by this task, but remember you don’t have to know everything about the Bible to share what God has done in your life. Your story is unique and powerful, and nobody can debate it with you. When you let others witness your faith in action, it speaks louder than any words ever could.

It’s Very Important To Remember the Holy Spirit Leads People To Faith. So Take Some Of That Pressure Off Yourself And Trust In God as you spread His Love Wherever You Go! I’ve heard some people say they’re afraid to share the gospel with others because they either don’t feel they know enough of the Bible to Defend It or Worry They’ll Be Made Fun of! Your story is your story; don’t be afraid to share it confidently and proudly!

Matthew  28:19-20 Therefore, go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

  2. Give God credit for lifting you up and getting you back on your feet.
  3. When you share your story, others will read it, and many will be directly influenced by it!

To Receive Christ, A Person Needs To Do Four Things:

  1. Admit they are a sinner.
  2. Ask forgiveness and be willing to turn away from your sins.
  3. Believe that Christ died for you on the cross.
  4. Receive Christ into your heart and life.

Realize that being a disciple of Jesus Christ must be an intentional, free-willed choice, not merely a command.
Saying, “I believe in you,” is different from saying, “I will obey you, follow you, and love you as you have loved me.”
Jesus tells us in Matthew 22:37-39 that God’s greatest commandment is to “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment.”

Get Started Here:

1. Read John 14:1-31 about what Jesus expects of you. Then, reread John 14:15 and John 14:23. How do we show God that we love him?

2. Instead of loving God in the way he commands, how have you been trying to show God you love him?

A commandment is not a request. It’s not a favor. It’s an order we are expected to follow if we truly love Him. We are doing what we can to obey God. Matthew 28:19-20 says, “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.”

This means that knowing what God commands and obeying Him is of the utmost importance. We know what God commands by reading the Bible. Loving God means obeying His commands.
3. Read John 15:8-11 to learn more about being a disciple of Jesus Christ.

As you can see, Jesus prioritized loving God and obeying his commands. Obeying God is the same as loving Him. To be His disciples, we must love and follow Him. Are you ready to commit to loving God and obeying His commands?

1. Understanding my past life is valuable for sharing my faith. 
2. Earn the right to share my faith!
3. People seek a cure when I share my beliefs with them.
4. Keep it simple. The Gospel is already evident.

How To Spread Your Faith?

 

#1 – Avoid Arguments When You Spread Your Faith.

You may have a chance to talk with an unbeliever and share the gospel. Instead, you end up in a fruitless debate you should avoid at all costs.

#2 – How To Save Precious Time When Spreading Your Faith?

If you know when to walk away from a conversation, you won’t waste your time or theirs, and you won’t burn a bridge in hopes of talking again. A Bible tract can help, but ultimately, sharing what God has done in your life is the best way to do it.

#3 – How To Build A Relationship While Spreading Your Faith?

I know of some Christians who are going through times of challenge and doubt and are hesitant to share their faith. You can only give away from what you have in abundance. 

 

 

How Can I Share My Faith Without Pushing Friends And Family Away?

Some Specific Scriptures To Encourage You:

 

Ephesians 2:8-9 ESV 

For by grace, you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast.

2 Corinthians 5:7 ESV 

For we walk by faith, not by sight.

Proverbs 3:5-6 ESV 

Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways, acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.

Mark 9:23 ESV
