Bad things happen when gratitude seems elusive in life’s trials and tribulations. Jesus even told us we would have many problems but not to worry because He has overcome the world. Things could be worse! I remind myself to make a mental list of all I can be grateful for. This simple act constantly encourages me by shifting my perspective from what is lacking to what already exists in abundance.
Helen Keller Once Wisely Remarked, “The Only Thing Worse Than Being Blind Is Having Sight But No Vision.” These Profound Words Resonate Deeply With Me As They Highlight The Importance Of Keeping Our Focus On Something Greater Than Ourselves, Namely Jesus Christ! Keep Your Mind On Things Above! Things Could Be Worse!
And so, like an unwavering beacon guiding ships through treacherous waters, I fix my gaze upon Jesus– a source of unending love and steadfast support. In moments when despair threatens to consume me entirely, I am very thankful that he strengthens and comforts me as I keep my eyes on Him. ~ Bill Greguska

Be Thankful ~ Things Could Be Worse!
Your situation might be challenging right now, but it could be worse. Sometimes, seeing some of the bad things that could have happened to you is good. It puts your present and past pain and bad memories into perspective. The expression is true that it is always darker before dawn. Whatever God allows your life, He has a plan and reason.
Count your blessings, not your problems! Things could be worse!
Be patient and trust that God is in control. You will soon find out why God allows certain things to happen to you in your life.
Trust in God because He will never leave or forsake you, even during bad times. When we choose the broad road instead of the narrow highway, we can be assured that at some point or another, the result of taking the broad road will boomerang back in negative ways. That is because the broad road is not God’s road. That is how things could be worse when we take the wide road. ~ Bill Greguska
