Life can be tough, and we all face challenges that test our strength and resilience. But let me tell you that no matter what obstacles come your way, you can overcome them with faith in our all-powerful God and encouragement from others. That’s what we at NeedEncouragement.com are all about—supporting others through difficult times. How do I know? In 1976, my best friend died, and it was hard for me to process this loss. Then, from 1976 to 1986, I was addicted to drugs and alcohol. Thank God, I recovered and had a new lease on life. Later, I married, but after 10 years, my wife left me. It felt like my entire life had crashed down around me. Then something amazing happened! Pastor Ron Sauer and his wife, Sue, came into my life, counseled me, and prayed for me. As a way out of my depression, they encouraged me to start a website dedicated to spreading God’s message of love, hope, and encouragement. NeedEncouragement.com was born from 2 Corinthians 1:3-4. We each have our own story to tell. God guided me through many things in life: the death of my best friend, drug and alcohol addiction, being expelled from three high schools, and a painful divorce, to mention a few dark parts of my past. But I have learned that God is faithful and good, and He loves me enough to watch over me, protect me, and save me from myself.

Our purpose is to encourage and unite our visitors with the love and compassion of Jesus Christ. How and why did our ministry start? NeedEncouragement.com was founded by my former pastor, Ron Sauer, and his wife, Sue.

We are a Christian ministry whose purpose is to help point people to Jesus Christ! I have learned from experience that encouraging others greatly encourages me when I have problems. You’ll learn more about us and see how we’d like you to help others. ~ Bill Greguska

God Made Something Good Out Of Something Bad!

Encouragement mobile! NeedEncouragement.comPastor Ron and Sue Sauer encouraged me to encourage others by sharing the word of God! What inspired The Encouragement Ministry to begin was that I went through a divorce I did not want. Ron and Sue saw how depressed I was, and they knew that if I were to encourage others, my sadness and depression would be resolved much sooner. The ministry started at my home in 2005 with a 24-hour phone helpline. After two years, I started the website NeedEncouragement.com. The scripture below is from Ron and Sue Sauer.  
Through the troubles in my life, God used them for good by creating this website, which has encouraged countless people since 2007. We use the Internet to increase capacity and help more people. This ministry of encouragement was established in Milwaukee, WI. Our purpose is to encourage as many people as possible, in a God-honoring way, online. ~ Bill Greguska

I encourage you to inspire others. Ron and Sue Sauer somehow did all they could to help me. It is essential to have supportive people, even if you are not going through a crisis. But Ron and Sue have been there for me for many years now, almost as if God used Sue as my guardian angel.

There were many other good people, such as Mark Mallwitz, Dave Briscoe, my mom, Diana Greguska, and others who also influenced me.

Attending Elmbrook church for 23 years, when Stuart Briscoe was the head pastor, where I learned a lot and grew a lot as a Christian.

Since 2007, God has made it known to me that this is what I need to do. Encouraging others with the encouragement I received from God, like Ron and Sue Sauer, who shared the inspiring scripture 2 Corinthians 1:3-4 with me. ~ Bill Greguska
