Help For Addictions
There is help for addictions of all types. It is not until someone can admit that they need help for addiction before that can get help.
Admitting that you are powerless over whatever your addiction may happen to be, is the first step on the road to recovery.
Here is a test you can take to see if you have an addiction problem or not? Keep in mind that God has not or will not ever leave you.
God has given us free will so that we can love and obey him on our own, not because we were programmed to do so.
You are not alone when it comes to addictions; it would be reasonably safe to say you know of someone who is struggling with either an alcohol and drugs /cigarette/gambling, addictions in your life today. ~ Bill Greguska

Has Our Society Turned Into A Frog In A Kettle?
In our society alcohol and drugs have become an accepted way of life. Our society has become like a frog in a kettle. Then with the gas slowly turning up and the water was getting warmer. The frog is not aware of the subtle change of temperature, hence not realizing he should jump out of the kettle. He gets false security in his comfortable water which turns out to be his death. (if he did not treat his conditions in the pot, as usual, he would have jumped out, just like many in our society with addictions!)
There has been an alarming increase in the number of drug and alcohol problems in the United States alone. The more bad habits that have started because of a more permissive attitude in general of parents due to lack of nurturing and train of their children coupled with peer pressure of our young people. It is so evident that a large population of Americans battle with alcohol and drugs because of many different reasons.
Many Types Of Addictions!
There are other types of addictions such as gambling problems, pornography, overeating, not to forget to mention smoking cigarettes, by the way, if you would like some resources on how to quit smoking, click here.
