How to avoid/stop being overwhelmed? We all get overwhelmed sometimes, learn how to prevent it from happening, or get out of the trap of being overwhelmed. Prayer and scriptures are the one-two punch when it comes to staying calm. There are other things, such as exercise, deep breathing, and laughter, to name a few other suitable ways.

The next time you find yourself beginning to get overwhelmed, I would encourage you to stop and pray right away, if possible take a break from what is overwhelming you, take a few slow deep breaths, and ask God to help you be strong and keep things in perspective. Try to allow God to direct your thoughts and feelings, and not allow your situation to overwhelm you. It is something that can be done because with God all things are possible. ~ Bill Greguska

Psalm 121:1–2  I lift up my eyes to the hills. From where does my help come? My help. comes from the LORD, who made heaven and earth.
