Most people think of themselves as good people, even if they know little about God, and do not feel they need to get right with God. It’s a common perception we have about ourselves. But let me ask you something – have you ever told a lie, taken something that didn’t belong to you, or had a lustful thought? If we’re being honest with ourselves, the answer is probably yes. Deep down, we must admit that we are all sinners in some way or another. However, there is hope for us sinners!

If you have accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, you know that when we stumble and fall into sin, we can come to God and confess our wrongdoings. He promises to forgive us (1 John 1:9). Of course, sometimes the consequences of our actions may linger on earth; however, when our time comes, when we pass away from this world one day. I am confident in saying that I will be going to heaven because Christ paid for my sins on the cross. His precious blood covers those who put their faith in Him. Now, if you don’t agree with this belief yet, or doubt the truthfulness, I sincerely pray that someday soon, everything falls into place for you and your relationship with God becomes right again. I have experienced what God has done in my life for me to understand that God loved me so much that He gave His life up for me despite me being a sinner. ~ Bill Greguska

Then Jesus rose from the dead and was seen by hundreds. He fulfilled all the prophecies of the promised Savior. Today, repent and trust Jesus; God will forgive you and grant you eternal life. What does it mean to “Come to Jesus”? It means agreeing with what the Bible says about Jesus. Take a look:

What Coming to Jesus is Not

  • It is not about repeating a sinner’s prayer
  • It is not about walking down an aisle
  • Is is not about filling out a Decision Card

 What Coming to Jesus Is

  • Confessing your sins and seeing your sinfulness and realizing your desperate need for the Savior
  • Trusting in Jesus as your personal Savior
  • Believing with your heart and not just your head
  • Relying on, fully trusting in, leaning upon, and resting in — Him
  • Believing that He is your Savior first and allowing the Holy Spirit to help you make Him your Lord too
  • Believing that there is no other way to the Father in Heaven except by Jesus Christ alone

  1. You Have Never Believed In God As Your Lord And Savior.

  • James 5:16  Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful.
