Reconciliation Is NOT The Same As Forgiveness!True reconciliation is going one step further in friendship, it is optional and not commanded like forgiveness is. NeedEncouragement.com

Please contact us if you have questions or if you need some encouragement.

We are called by God to love one another. There is a difference between forgiveness and reconciliation. It is clear what is written in Matthew 6:15 But. if you do not forgive others their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins. Reconciliation goes one step beyond forgiveness. God commands us to forgive, but God does not command us to be reconciled in every situation.

Reconciliation is a powerful and beautiful thing. It allows us to come together with others, admit our faults, and work towards healing relationships that have been broken. Although it may not always be possible to fully restore a relationship in the way we desire, forgiveness is still essential. God commands and teaches us to forgive others as He has forgiven us, and this requires humility and grace on our part. Sometimes it takes time for wounds to heal or for hearts to soften, but reconciliation can bring about incredible restoration in relationships. We must remember that even when things cannot be put back in a healthy way again, forgiveness is always an option. As difficult as it may be at times, let us strive towards reconciling with one another whenever possible so that we can experience the beauty of restored relationships in our lives. ~ Bill Greguska

Romans 12:18 If it is possible, as far. as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone.

Ephesians 4:32 ESV

Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you.

2 Corinthians 5:18 ESV

All this is from God, who through Christ reconciled us to himself and gave us the ministry of reconciliation;

But if he does not listen, take one or two others along with you, that every charge may be established by the evidence of two or three witnesses. If he refuses to listen to them, tell it to the church. And if he refuses to listen even to the church, let him be to you as a Gentile and a tax collector.

2 Corinthians 5:18-21 ESV

All this is from God, who through Christ reconciled us to himself and gave us the ministry of reconciliation; that is, in Christ, God was reconciling the world to himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and entrusting to us the message of reconciliation. Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, God making his appeal through us. We implore you, on behalf of Christ, to be reconciled to God. For our sake, he made him to be sin who knew no sin so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.
