1. SPIRITUAL

1. Daily Prayer
2. Daily Bible reading
3. Christian fellowship
4. Forgiveness of others
5. Confession of sins

 

Matthew 6:15 But if you do not forgive others their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins.
Philippians 4:6 Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.
1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.

2. PHYSICAL

1. Diet of healthy food.
2. Drink plenty of water.
3. Minimal amount of alcohol if at all.
4. Regular exercise.
5. Sleep 7-8 hours each night.
1 Samuel 16:7 But the Lord said to Samuel, “Do not consider his appearance or his height, for I have rejected him. The Lord does not look at the things people look at. People look at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.”
Luke 11:34 Your eye is the lamp of your body. When your eyes are healthy, your whole body also is full of light. But when they are unhealthy, your body also is full of darkness.
1 Timothy 4:8 For physical training is of some value, but godliness has value for all things, holding promise for both the present life and the life to come.

3. RELATIONAL

1. Communicate with friends and family regularly.
2. Make plans with friends and family regularly.
3. Apologize when you are wrong.
4. Overlook others shortcomings.
5. Treat others as you would like to be treated.
Proverbs 17:17 A friend loves at all times, and a brother is born for a time of adversity.
Luke 6:31 Do to others as you would have them do to you.

Romans 12:18 If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone.

4. MENTAL

1. Keep a clear conscience.
2. Laugh through out each day.
3. Think of things to be thankful for.
4. Focus on positive things.
5. Avoid arguing or losing your temper.
Romans 8:5-6 Those who live according to the flesh have their minds set on what the flesh desires; but those who live in accordance with the Spirit have their minds set on what the Spirit desires. The mind governed by the flesh is death, but the mind governed by the Spirit is life and peace.
2 Timothy 2:23 Don’t have anything to do with foolish and stupid arguments, because you know they produce quarrels.
1 Peter 5:8 Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.

5. EMOTION

1. Treat yourself and others with respect.
2. Strive for emotional health to avoid stress and anxiety.
3. Be aware of your moods, stay balanced.
4. Avoid alcohol and drugs.
5. Have someone to go to and talk about things.
Psalm 46:2 Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea,
1 Thessalonians 4:4 that each of you should learn to control your own body in a way that is holy and honorable,
1 Peter 5:7 Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.

6. FINANCIAL

1. God owns everything.
2. Live within your means.
3. Be wise with your credit card.
4. Plan ahead and put money into savings.
5. Be honest and pay your bills on time.
Luke 14:28 “Suppose one of you wants to build a tower. Won’t you first sit down and estimate the cost to see if you have enough money to complete it?
Luke 16:13 “No one can serve two masters. Either you will hate the one and love the other, or you will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money.”
1 Timothy 6:10 For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some people, eager for money, have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs.
