Pastor Colin Smith is the senior pastor of The Orchard Evangelical Free Church in the northwest suburbs of Chicago. He is married to Karen, and they have two grown sons, Andrew and David.

Born in Edinburgh, Scotland, Colin was raised in a Christian family and felt a call to pastoral ministry from an early age. He trained at the London School of Theology, where he received a B.A. in Theology and later a Master of Philosophy.

Colin was pastor of the Enfield Evangelical Free Church in North London for sixteen years and, during that time, served in various capacities within the Fellowship of Independent Evangelical Churches, including as their President. In 1996, Colin transitioned to serve at The Orchard, a vibrant, multi-campus church in the Northwest Suburbs of Chicago.
