What is success? It’s a question that often lingers in our minds, causing us to reflect on the true meaning of our achievement. Success should not be measured by the size of your bank account, the extravagance of your home or apartment, or even the designer labels you wear on your body.

Instead, the real success lies in discovering Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior and leading others toward Him. Embrace love for God with all your heart and extend that love to those around you – this is where genuine triumph resides. Without these two fundamental elements, one cannot truly claim to have lived a life filled with victory. So let us remember: what is success? It’s an unwavering devotion to our faith and an unwavering commitment to spreading God’s message of love throughout the world.  So keep in mind that success is your character and love for God and also one another. ~ Bill Greguska

Can You Find Success All By Yourself?

We have been created to be in relationships, helping others, and letting them help you too!

If you take a close look at yourself and our society, you will discover God’s way of success is never the same as man’s definition of success. There are many scriptures about success, but only real progress can be summed up by the following quote: “Obey God and leave all the consequences to Him” by Pastor Charles Stanley.

What is success? When a life is lived to please God, success will follow in some way or another. With a successful life, there is always faith involved and a belief that a goal will be attained.

Always keep in mind that God is in control. No matter what you say or do, He has the final say. When life is lived to please God, success will follow in some way or another. Jesus said that without faith, it is impossible to please God. With a successful life, there is always the element of trust and confidence involved and a belief that a goal will be attained.

The ground to cultivate your faith starts in your mind, a part of your Spirit. Your spirit grows as you put your thoughts and actions on the things above, on God and His faithful promises. By memorizing God’s word about success in your mind, it propels you to take action. It allows faith to take effect, which accomplishes things previously you might have thought impossible.

What Is Success?

Ephesians 4:22-23 You were taught, with regard to your former way of life, to put off your old self, which is being corrupted by its deceitful desires; to be made new in the attitude of your minds.

Ask yourself, “What is success?” The first step towards success is a renewal of your mind. The old way of thinking, without any doubt, needs to be replaced with God’s way. The attitude of your mind must be filled with biblical wisdom, which ultimately leads to living a godly life. When Godly thoughts and inspirational scriptures become part of your daily thoughts, your Spirit will be ignited powerfully to overcome the desires of the flesh.

When our minds are full of fear, our Spirit does not function properly and submits to our human instincts. The part of your brain is the gatekeeper, which directs your conscious state’s being, either towards your Spirit or your flesh, depending on what you set your mind upon as your goals.

What Is Success ~ And How Can You Discover It?

# 1) Commands…

Joshua 1:8 Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful.

This scripture tells us how to be successful by doing everything written in the Bible (obeying God’s commands) and meditating on scripture every day. This verse is like finding a precious diamond. It tells us precisely what to do to find success; this can’t be overemphasized. It is a scripture made with a promise to bless you.

If you stay in God’s word frequently, pray, believe, and meditate on the Word daily, you will have the ability to follow this scripture and fight temptation. It will build up your faith sufficiently to allow you to “do everything written in it.” Meditating means tossing about, chewing on, and thinking about.

Daily meditation and reading of His word gives you His peace, and His joy and equips you to do battle. You will be less inclined to fall out of order during the day when you read the bible daily. Unless you consciously connect with God through reading, praying, and meditating on the word, your effort will only be in your strength and not through God’s. Discover what success looks like in your life.

#2) Plans…

Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

The above scripture is one of my favorite and most powerful scriptures about success. It shows that God has plans to bless every Christian. According to His will, he wants to give you a future filled with success, hope, and meaning. Trust in God that he will reveal your life purpose. Moreover, take that small step of faith and start doing what you know is God’s will.

God may not reveal it to you all at one time, but He will show you enough of what you are supposed to do to get you started. Only God knows the plans he has for your life, and in your diligent search for it, he will show you the way. When you seek it, you will find it, it may not always look the way you planned it to be, but just as long as it is God’s will, not your will be done.

Everything that you need to accomplish His will for your life has already been given to you by God. Your job is to find out what those gifts are and start to use and develop them as each person is a uniquely created being. God wants you to be excited about each day, filled with the power of His Spirit. Get it on the inside of you to walk each day in service to God and to gain His favor. Stretch yourself to hope for more, to do more, and to seek better results.

#3) Senses…

2 Corinthians 5:7 For we live by faith, not by sight.

The five senses, vision, hearing, touch, taste, and smell, are used to walk in the earthly realm. If the walk is spiritual, then these senses are rendered meaningless. A person’s Spirit must be connected to God and His ways.

In the book of Revelation, God tells us that Satan, the Beast, and the False Prophet will deceive many. That is because the forces of evil have perfected deception towards people through their five senses. When a person is led by their feelings and not the word of God through their Spirit, they will be led astray.

Faith is not meant to obtain goods or material things to waste on one’s desires. The desire to acquire wealth is fraught with pitfalls and danger, traps set by the enemy. Knowing biblical truth is very important.

#4) Purpose…

Ephesians 2:10 For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.

God created each one of His children to fulfill a purpose. He has equipped each one of you with a unique set of skills, gifts, and talents to achieve God’s goal in your life. To accomplish God’s purpose starts with finding your purpose, precisely why God placed you on this earth.

Real joy comes from when you live a life dedicated to God, impacting the people in your life and the immediate world around you. It is about finding wisdom and using it for the good of all; it is about serving God and fulfilling His plans and purposes. You are then on your way to finding out what success is.

Look at the goals that you set out to achieve in your life; you must have a purpose attached to them. There must be a single driving force, a reason for your plans to live passionately pursuing those goals. A God-defined purpose will propel you to new heights and give you the wisdom to persevere when the going gets tough.

Your purpose must define the single most important reason for your existence. All of your actions in life must be built around this purpose. So by setting a life purpose, your life will be filled with passion for accomplishing whatever you want according to God’s will for you.
