We all need exercise, plain and simple. It’s the foundation of a healthy lifestyle that helps us feel better both physically and emotionally. If you’re not getting enough exercise, it’s time to make a change! Don’t worry if you’ve never been athletic or don’t know where to start – just take it slow and build up gradually over time. Remember that your spiritual health and emotional encouragement are just as important as your physical health, so make sure to nourish those aspects of yourself too.

And please, be kind to your body when starting. Be Patient, you don’t want to push yourself too hard and risk injury or burnout. So let’s prioritize our health together by making exercise a regular part of our lives! We all know that exercise is so very important to all of us in our lives. Take a health check inventory to make sure you are getting enough exercise, or are you choosing to take the wide road and not push yourself too much for whatever reason? I was fortunate to have played sports since 4th grade. The habit of exercise became ingrained in me. Many people are not as lucky as I was, and exercise can be a challenge. Regular exercise and a healthy diet and lifestyle can help us feel better, function better, sleep better, and live our lives to the fullest. ~ Bill Greguska

1 Timothy 4:8  For physical training is of some value, but godliness has value for all things, holding promise for both the present life and the future.

Before You Exercise ~ It Is Important To Stretch!

The Value Of Exercise!

How Much Do You Exercise Each Week?

Exercise is one of the best things for your health and longer life!

  • If we do not take care of our bodies, our bodies will not take care of us.
  • Starting with just a bit of exercise is better than none.
  • It may not be easy, like anything else worthwhile in life, but training pays off with good health.
  • Going through the pain of working out will be worth the gain of becoming physically healthier. Fight the feelings of being lazy.
  • Obstacles don’t have to stop you. Don’t turn around and give up if you run into a wall. Figure out how to climb, go through, or work around it.” ~ Michael Jordan
  • Training gives us an outlet for suppressed energies created by stress and thus tones the spirit just as exercise conditions the body. Arnold Schwarzenegger

How To Get In Shape Both Physically And Spiritually?

A good goal is like a strenuous exercise – it makes you stretch. ~ Mary Kay Ash

Philippians 3:13-14  Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.

Physical Or Spiritual Strength?

1 Timothy 4:8 For physical training is of some value, but godliness has value for all things, holding promise for both the present life and the life to come.
When you see the pride in others’ actions that you know, how does that make you feel? Despite my harmful addictions and troubles, I did not lose the heart of a competitor God seemed to have placed in me.  Playing hard all those years, I lost out on what I had my heart set on. Then only to realize later how deceptive Satan can be. That he is out to destroy, deceive, and kill each of us in his custom-fitted way. If I had to say so, I would consider myself somewhat humble, except that I knew I was pretty good at basketball and physical. Later, I asked myself why God allowed that to happen.  But I have concluded that it had to be God’s will. Only to find out later in life that His will is always better than my desires.

Exercise Can Be Fun!Getting Excercise Is Vital For A Healthy Life!

Do you need to get some exercise? It is an interesting question. Keep in mind before you answer that question; If we don’t take care of our body, our body will not take care of us! It is not that simple, but it almost is if you get organized and determined. What you eat, how much you exercise, how much sleep you get, and other factors will determine how healthy you will be.
Like most ordinary people in the United States, you most likely need to start working out again. It is worth the effort!
Having a proper diet and taking care of your physical health should be a high priority if you want to be healthy and live long and relatively problem-free. We all need to carve out time on our calendars to work out and care for our bodies, no matter what type of workout.
Remember that we all need to get exercise!~ Bill Greguska
